Just booked my flight Christen.

I am joining you on Thursday for sure. Yippee!!

My flight lands at the Las Vegas airport at 1:20pm.

Let me know if you want to meet up at the airport and take the shuttle together. Or if you want to meet at the hotel.

I'm willing to pay half the charge for the room that night.

I have my own room booked for Friday & Saturday.

Let's coordinate! Whoo hoo!!

Sounds great MJ! Splitting the room definitely sounds good to me! and i am so glad that you are coming on Thursday so i am not alone! dang.. only 6 weeks left! i better start working hard again! And if Jess can make it on Thursday too we can split in 3 ways maybe.. Are we all staying at the same hotel?

Alta already booked your room for Thursday night. I was actually wanting to crash in your room! lol

So it will be you, me, and Jess all splitting the room costs for Thursday night (in your room). Then Jess and I will move over to the room I booked on Friday. Sound good? We are in the same hotel too.

Your room is already booked through Alta for the weekend, so no worries. She booked Thursday thru Sunday checkout.

Whoo hoo! Time to step it UP! I'm planning on dropping at least 10 pounds in the next 6 weeks. Watch out!! Hooters are on a roll!!

is the world ending?! I think the Mayans were right.. we are all goin down 2012.. I dont know about you guys in other cities.. but in Atlanta we have not had gas for 2 weeks...Think about what it must be like with absolutely NO gasoline in a major city like Atlanta. Business have been closing, gas stations out of business, people missing work and losing their jobs.. it is truely a nightmare here. I heard on the news today that a few gas stations had gas so I was going to try to go get some.. The first one i went to after waiting in line over an hour ran out and the second one i drove by was causing HUGE traffic jam on a major road here.. There were police officers everywhere and there were people standing on top of their cars waving guns and screaming at each other. It is out of control! They say it may be weeks before we even get a steady supply of gas again and even then its still going to be tough with the lines for awhile...

I am not going to be able to get to school for awhile (it is 30 miles each way)
I have just enough gas in my car to get to the gas station when i know they finally have some!

Maybe this means I will have more time to work out now!

Is anyone else having this problem in their city?
 
No, and I haven't even heard it reported. That sucks about the gas. What's causing the shortage, weather?

OMG.....that's CRAZY!!! My bf is going over there on October 15th...to go visit a friend who lives in the Boonies, near Atlanta.....;)!!!! WOW!!! I haven't heard anything like that....THAT is CRAZY!!! I can't believe it! I hope everything gets squared out soon, but from the sounds of things it doesn't sound like it!.....I'm still in shock...I wonder if he should go still? He bought his ticket already......

I bought gas this morning for 3.69. Some places are out in town but about half of them have gas. They said every gas station should be good by wed.

Did you read that book by Roskind about the 2012 Mayan thing? I read that book.... the Transformation or w/e. I actually had dinner with Mr Roskind and his wife. They live about 45min from me.
 
Scary!! We have gas EVERYWHERE in Montana. Thats nuts... I was just in Denver this weekend and they were good too. Good luck to ya!@
 
so i havent posted in here in forever!!!! this last month is going by way too fast but i cant wait til the vegas trip!! woo hoo only 2.5 weeks :) guess i should put away some money huh? and probably get to the gym?

I plan on hitting the gym each day I am there if I can. I don't want to gain any weight in Vegas, but I want to drink!!!

Damnnnn REALLY?!?!?!!? :(.....I just wanted to REEEEEEEEELAX....but hey, if it's like that....we might as well run/walk a baby race I found out there Sat. MORNING!!!

...throw a little baby accomplishment on the belt while there too....LOL!!!!

Hey Teams!

I went ahead and decided to post this weeks bonus (since no one is checking who's turn it is anymore. lol).

Since it's posted late, this bonus will go into effect MONDAY (10/27/08). That's 5 days to rack up some points! By now, the strong have survived and are still participating in this challenge. We can handle this! The weak are gone, so no excuses for not being able to get your exercise on!

Week 20: SUPER BONUS Challenge 10/25/08-10/31/08

-Each day that you perform an additional 30 minutes of exercise (on top of the regular hour of exercise each day) give yourself 1 extra point (both exercise and weights times count). NO MAX POINTS, so you can really go for it this week and make up some ground by being able to get unlimited exercise points!!!:jump:

lol! MJ- glad you said that, cuz I told my sisters that I hoped there was a gym in our hotel cuz I wanted to get some cardio in at least, and she looked at me like I was NUTS! I wanna drink, I wanna eat, and I wanna have a blast, but I agree. I don't wanna gain this shiz back!

I'm heading to Paris the weekend after Vegas, so I want to keep on losing weight all the way through Vegas.

I'm going to "try" to get my workouts in the morning and get them out of the way.

Anyone up for renting bikes and going for a ride?

The baby race sounds fun!! Let's do it!
