I was good yesterday! I was CRAVING fast-food last night -- **BAD**. We ate kinda early, so I was dying by 9:30. I faught the urge though, and I felt proud this morning. I've been giving in to those cravings as of late, so I'm just glad I survived. ;)

I may have to stay late at work tonight, so I'm not sure if I'll make it to the gym. I will try though. :)
 
I've been doing well for these past few days :)

I made it to the gym last night, and I had a really nice workout. 20 minutes on the elliptical, 20 minutes of weights, and then did some crunches on the ball. I was really fired up about going, so I had a ton of energy -- which felt GREAT, because I've been really sluggish lately.

This weightloss challenge at work is really helping to get me re-motivated! I'm just gonna be thrilled when I get below 200 lbs! I'm SO CLOSE! Its been at least 7 years since I've been below 200 lbs. :eek:

Almost there!! :D
 
Well, I guess I can consider last week a success. I slipped up a few times, and only made it to the gym once. But I lost 4.5 pounds! :D

I'm now down to 201 -- so close to under 200! :) Hopefully I can get there by this time next week.

I also plan on making more trips to the gym this week.

Yesterday was pretty tough because we went to my mother's for Easter lunch, then my mother-in-law's for Easter dinner. I was afraid I was going to ruin a week's worth of work the day before weigh-in. :eek:

But, it all worked out! :) Talk to ya'll later.

Looks like this challenge is just what you needed! 4.5 lbs is wonderful! You are soooo close to being under 200! How cool is that?!?:p

Wow, sorry I haven't posted in forever! I've been super busy with the new job. :) Thats a good thing though!

I'm down another 4 pounds this week! :D That puts me at 197! I'm FINALLY under 200 pounds! Wow. I just stopped and stared at the scale this morning. I haven't been under 200 in a LONG time.

I don't think I'm going to hit 185 by May 15th, but I'm okay with that. I've still come a long way, and I'll get to 185 eventually. :)
 
Congratulations!!! 12lbs to your goal. I am so impressed!! :) Way to go!!! You are doing great. I imagine its wonderful to be under 200! You should post some updated pics! :D

I found out that I'm winning the weight-loss challege at work, so that gave me a nice boost of confidence!

I haven't been going to the gym as much as I once was, but I'm still going about twice a week. But, now, more than ever, I need to really start going to the gym. That way I can tone up. I've lost weight, but I'm still flabby. :p
 
I haven't been putting much in my diary these days, especially since I got the new job. But I'm still sticking to my diet! :)

I lost another pound and a half this week!

I was going for 2 to 3 pounds, but at least I'm headed in the right direction!

I lost 10 and a half pounds in the April Challenge, just a half pound shy of my goal. I only made it to the gym once last week, and worked out once at home.

This week I *will* go to the gym at least THREE TIMES. :D
 
Oh yeah, I'm starting to notice one more thing..

When I got my new job, I had to go out and buy pants, and I was able to fit into size 36 pants! Which I hadn't fit into in a *while*.

Well now, the 36's are getting too loose! :eek: I can't believe it. I might go try on some 34's this weekend. :D

I've still got a bit of a gut, but thats only going to go away with a few million situps. :p

I know exactly how you are feeling about buying new cloths! CONGRATS! Isnt that great! :)
It is such an amazing feeling. I too-am in need of a smaller size now-AGAIN. Now if I can only find jeans in the store, all those capri thingys are in season. (and I cant wear them to work) ya' know/dress code.

Its great that you are sticking to your diet, even though your not hitting the diary as much any more, just remember--we're still here for ya. .....Keep it up................Cabana:p
 
Thanks Cabana! I'm kind of afraid to go buy cloths that are even smaller, because I don't want to gain the weight back and not fit into them any more! :p I just can't let that happen, right!? :)

My arms are kinda sore this morning, but thats a good thing! Makes me feel like a had a solid workout last night.

The Big Money Challenge has been extended until May 14th, so I'm trying to lose another 5 pounds or so before then.

Ugh. I've struggled through the past two weeks. I have my good days here and there, but mostly I'm still just eating way too much of the wrong thing for dinner. :p I did make it to the gym twice, but my diet's been all out of whack.

I'm back up to 199 right now -- and feelin' bloated! :(

For my own sake, I'm going to repeat a great quote that I found on these forums a few months back:

"Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."

I've just gotta keep that in mind! :)
 
Hi everyone,

I am new at the forum. 2 months ago, I had a baby girl and during my pregnancy i almost gained 60 lbs. I lost about 30 lbs. Befor the pregnancy i was 165 lbs right now i am at 189. My goal weight is 150 like i used to be 4 years ago. I am 5"6. I hope to stay motivate and have a great time while dieting and exercising.
