Chris B's Weekly Weigh-in

Hi tempest!!! I'm happy to say we're on a team together for the newest challenge!! :) We need to pick a team name, so I've picked a few ideas, and will welcome any others!!! :D We start tomorrow !!

Last night I went to the gym and had a great workout. 20 minutes on the elliptical, 20 minutes of weights, and 10 minutes on the ball. I had alot of energy, and those workouts are always my favorite, because I really feel pumped afterwards.

Yesterday I had a zonebar for breakfast, turkey sandwich and yogurt for lunch, and grilled chicken alfredo and a salad for dinner. And I'm all packed up to go to the gym again tonight. :D

Only one more pound til your mini goal?? Awesome! Good luck on your challenge...I am sure that one pound will be gone in no time! Keep up the great work! :)

Hey, Tempest-
So once that one pound is melted away, what is your new goal going to be? Mine is coming up here real soon-I'm thinking about only starting out with 10 lbs. I dont want to be dissappointed if I cant lose.

Thanks everybody. My ultimate goal is 185 by May 15th. Thats going to take some work, but I can totally do it, especially if I keep going to the gym 5 nights a week.

I can't wait to start my new ticker ;)
 
Sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the great work!One night to indulge isn't bad, you've already came a long way and they do tend to keep cravings at bay!:p
 
Same ol' same ol', but thats a good thing! ;)

Went to the gym last night, 20 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes of weights, and 10 minutes on the ball.

We had salad, grilled chicken, and roasted potatos for dinner last night. Those potatos were AWESOME! :D

I think I'm officially addicted to working out now. *Never* thought I'd say that. :p

It looks like you are on a roll and really motivated. Your really doing well, and thats great! Keep up all that exercise, I'm sure its helping you to burn more fat & faster:)

Hey Tempest! I don't belong to a gym, but I know what you mean about being 'addicted' to working out. I mostly walk for my exercise, but I am at a point where I actually look forward to my walking time. I always feel so much better after I walk, and on the days I don't walk, I always feel like something is missing. Its a great feeling, because I was never one to exercise. Even when I tried to lose weight, I would diet, but not exercise. I know I dont do that much, but I am happy with what I am doing. Hopefully it these kind of changes that will help us keep off the weight forever!!

You're absolutely right Fluff...and thats the goal, make changes to keep this weight off FOREVER!

Once I achieve my "beach body", I don't ever want to go back. ;)
 
Wow, its been a crazy day at work today, so I'm just stopping in really quick.

I went to the gym last night, 20 minutes on the elliptical, 10 minutes of weights, and 10 minutes on the ball. My wife and I then went for a 45 minute walk. :)

I'm debating if I want to go to the gym tonight. Its been a crazy day, so I might need the night off. ;)

3 more pounds have vanished!!! :D

I'm now at 208, so I've started a new ticker towards my next goal of 185 by May 15th. :)

I had a good workout yesterday, 20 minutes on the elliptical, 30 minutes of weights, and 10 minutes on the ball.

I'm headed to the gym again tonight. ;)
 
OMG! I am so happy for you! 3 more lbs? Oooh I have to admit I am a little jealous, but you are doing so great!! :D Plus..heck yer on my team and we're kickin some weight loss booty.. Keep up the awesome job!!! :D

Arn't you just one big "fat burnning" machine! How cool is that! The more you work out, the more muslce your going to build and the more fat is going to vanish! Way to go. I am so happy for you! I'm right behind you, although you sound much more confidant than I do now adays!:p Maybe once I meet my 20, I will join one of those challenge thingys.;)

Good luck on meeting your new goal! I know you can do it! You've done an awsome job so far!

I did pretty good yesterday. I had a zonebar for breakfast, a turkey sandwich and yogurt for lunch, and a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-a for dinner. The chick-fil-a probably wasn't the healthiest choice, but I skipped on the soda and fries. :p

I did make it to the gym as well. Although, I do believe I'm going to take the night off from the gym. My arms are pretty sore this morning. (ugh.)
