Chest, Chest, Chest

Okay.. I've been lifting for years and I have always had the same problem... my chest just sucks! I have done all kinds of workouts and I have changed them up when my body seems to be adapting so that I shock the muscle. I have lifted heavy to try to gain some mass and I have tried to lift lighter with more reps to gain definition... nothing works.

My shoulders look great and my arms are great but I think most of that is just genetics because I've always been able to get these body parts to grow and define.

My diet is very strict and I don't cheat. I run 3 to 4 times a week and when I lift, I lift hard.

Does anyone have this same issue?? My chest needs help... we'll get to my love handles in another post....

I'm 5' 11" and I weigh 192.

It's really common for the triceps to take over for most people while bench pressing. If you've worked up to heavy weight in bench and dip, and you still have trouble building the chest, try heavy dumbell flies. I recommend these only under the assumption that you've made significant progress on bench/dips.

I'd like to know, specifically, what and how you've been training (exercises, weight, sets and reps, how often, what kind of a routine, etc). Details, details. What, exactly, is your nutrition situation? What and when did you eat over the last 3 days? How do you handle nutrition around the workout window? What's your current bodyfat % and what has it been? That sort of stuff..lay it on thick, in as much detail as possible.

Without the info, all you're really accomplishing is whining. ^_^
