Chest and Toning

Hi Ive been in and out of the Gym for about 12 years on and off and im perfectly aware of techniques for all muscle groups. One thing that does baffle and frustrate me is that i do tend to get a bit of fat in the chest area and toning up my chest is turning out to bit of an issue.
I realise that to gain a good fat percentage body wise includes good monitoring of your diet and a good cardio routine which i do have but i still have problems losing fat in the chest area.

Can anyone offer some help or advice?

Steve

you have high estrogen levels so you need to gear yuor training to releasing testosterone and growth hormone

it COULD be increased estrogen.
could also be that he's still 16% body fat and since men store it in the torso first, he might just have a little nipple fat.

need more info: age, height, weight, bodyfat %

yea i was going to post a thread on this issue also (not hijacking) im happy - actualy verry hapy so far with the weight (fat ) that i have lost but the area that i seem to be having dificulty is the chest - i have a big chest frame and any fat around the chest area looks like alot more :( - i did put it down to estrogen levels so ive been trying to get my testostorone up with hard exersise - any ideas how to do this better? like foods or less sex (lol) like im getting any at the momen anyway lol

Then its obviously isn’t good enough. It really is that simple. After 12 years in the gym you should realize that you can’t reduce the fat in one area of your body.

So… To lose the fat you should increase your speed in the gym, not your time. You need to tighten up your diet. Don’t eat less, just eat healthy food.

estrogen is only one possibility. What is more likely, is that you just need to fine tune the diet and routine a little to get that last bit of stubborn fat off.

The first place it goes, is the last place to lose. As malkore said, fat is accumulated in men in the torso area first, then spreads to other parts of the body.

My first assumption is always that the diet is a little off, so when you are posting your stats, also post your diet too. an average day of eating for you
