CherryBomb's diary

I'm feeling great. I feel like I'm really doing this for real this time. I never really had a plan of attack in my past attempts to lose weight/get in shape.

I've discovered lately that when I overindulge or eat something bad, I let everything around me go to hell. I won't do the dishes or clean up and I just become lazy overall. When I stay on track, I get everything done that needs to be done and I feel more organized. If I go over in calories one day, I just eat less the next day. This is definitely a learning process.

Today I went a bit over in calories-1705

breakfast: Fiber One w/rice milk, coffee
snack: 10 baby carrots
lunch: Smart Ones 3 Cheese Pizza
snack: Yoplait light vanilla yogurt, 20 grapes
dinner: 1/2 jamaican beef patty, 1 cup broccoli
dessert: Weight Watchers chocolate fudge ice cream cup
splurge: 2 crab rangoons, 1 teriyaki beef stick
water: 100 oz.

exercise: 30 minutes pilates-it was too chilly to walk!

Looks like a very good day - it is indeed a learning process. I never realized that before either. Good to hear you're catching other things that are linked to your eating. You can correct them before become a problem now. Hope tomorrow is just as good!! :D

Dropping in to say hi....

*copy above line....moving to next diary to paste *:p
Silly 30-second bet posts rule! I'm running out of lunchtime!

I haven't been on much...super busy lately.

Everything is going great. I weighed myself yesterday and I'm down to 149 :D
Only 5lbs. lost so far, but can already tell in the way my clothes fit.

I'm also cutting my calories a bit more-no more than 1200, no less than 1000. I've been eating at least every two hours, just small snacks really throughout the day. Mostly just fruit, veggies, light yogurt, Lipton cup-a-soup, rice cakes, and oatmeal. I'm going to try to eat the majority of my calories early in the day and then have a light dinner-salad and 1/2 sandwich or soup.
I've become a fan of Kashi products-the waffles, oatmeal, and granola bars. If you've gotta have carbs, these are a great choice because they have more protein and fiber than the other brands I've seen. I've started ordering my Subway sandwiches without the cheese and mayo and to be honest, I don't even miss it!

breakfast: Kashi oatmeal, coffee
snack: rice cake, Lipton cup-a-soup
lunch: Healthy Choice Grilled Chicken Marinara (yum)
snack: rice cake, Dannon Light&Fit vanilla yogurt
dinner: Subway 6" veggie on wheat, Baked Lays, diet coke
water: 72oz. so far

I'm sticking with the walking/pilates routine. So far it's working, but I know I need to do more, like lift weights.

Hope you're all doing well. Like I said, I haven't been around much, but I'm off to read some diaries now. Good night!
