Cheerleading...

Oh, I heard the winces. Nope, I don't really think it's a sport either, but apparently it is. So here we go...

Cheerleading has always looked so fun and such a good work out. Unfortunatly I'm British. Not something there's many opportunities for it. So I'm thinking of starting my own team. Wish me luck.

Anyone know of any good ways to improve flexability, strength and staina for a group withoutfancy equipment?

flexibility is pretty much just stretching yourself dont overstrech but every day do sum stretches youll see, if u can toe touch get suone to push on your back..to improve stamina its self explaintory run around a lot, and also to improve calf muscles put heavy weights in hands (not enough to hurt yourself) and go up and down on your tippy toes...improve strength without equipment, squat against the wall lyk your sitting on an invisible chair and do pushups to....thats the basics that i can think of without equipment hope that helped

oh the skirts, the legs!

as a british male the thought of cheerleading is a cracking one, but our cheerleading team at uni was someway of the NFL ones.

sorry to be completely chauvanistic, but every male aged under 25 has watched Saved By The Bell purely for the brown haired girl cheerleading.

Go for it.

Plyometrics would be something good for cheerleaders to look into.

Foam roller for flex, free weight for strength, running or rope jumping for stamina.
