Checking back in...

On Jan. 26th I posted my long term (6 month) goal of losing 10-15 kgs and keeping it off. I had fallen into a rut (mental and physical) and knew I needed to get out of it.

I was feeling highly motivated when I made up my mind to shed the weight. And now I feel even more motivated. I've lost about 2 and a half Kgs since Jan 26th. I'm getting daily exercise (cardio and light weight training) and I'm trying to eat healthy. I've also started dating someone. Since I decided to lose weight before she entered the picture I know the weight loss goals are mine and mine alone. I guess it is important that I know I am doing this for me.

General outlook right now? As long as things continue in this way I will continue to drop weight and stay healthy. Will try to keep myself on this track if possible. Will be interesting to see how I do once some adversity is added to the mix.
