Dazz-

Yeah, I agree with you and I hate those people!! Kidding!! I do think though that for some people, even 1 serving of a trigger food could lead to a full out binge later. I know I am like that. If I eat anything that has sugar and fat combined in it like candy, cookies, cakes...I might eat just one and walk away, but 9 times out of 10, I'll be obbsessively raiding every cabinet and closet in the house to find more to get my "fix" and hour later. It is like playing Russian Roulet with a nearly loaded gun......but that is just my experience.

I cheated last night, I went to a bar had few too many drinks. After the bar I had a double cheese burger from Jack in the box( BAD) and on top of that 3 quesadillas. I normally don't cheat this bad, I have to work harder to get it off now. But it sure was good and fun.

I agree Sandy. I used to do that so I just stayed away completely. It drove me near crazy that I couldn't ever enjoy certain yummy foods. I've reached a happy compromise now and since eating way healthier and more calories my body isn't searching for much of anything extra. Today was my cheat day. I raided my mind wondering what it was I was craving. Nothing. I tried over and over. NOTHING! I was hungry too so it wasn't that I had no appetite. I finally settled on ice cream. when in doubt! I got a quart of hand packed ice cream from baskin robbins. I'll probably make a brownie sundae with it. I also had a hogie sandwich at lunch and various other "forbidden" tastes throughout the day of things I don't allow through the week. This is a tame cheat day compared to some of my others. To me its reassuring to know that Monday is only a night away. I'll wake up and it will be a new start to a new week with all my cravings and temptations gone with my cheat day. Though i may wake up kinda nasty, after Monday I'll feel totaly back on track. Its also reassuring to me to know that in 6 more days I get to cheat again on whatever I crave through the week. It makes it easy to keep going.

I cheat about once per week. But because typically I *like* healthier foods, for me cheating is jack and coke or beer if I'm in Vegas (like this weekend) or at a game or bbq etc.

A cheat meal would be a burger at a fast food restaurant or burritos or pizza...and it's not all day long!

I'd have to shoot myself if I didn't allow myself to live! Life is too short LOL

I agree with the not all day long. Although I tend to just "loosen up" most of the day while one meal is an actual obvious cheat. Yesterday my obvious cheat was ice cream but the other parts of the day were just more than I'm used to of the already healthy food I eat.
