Cellulite

I have cellulite on the back of my legs and around my hips....is it true that cellulite is just stored fat and when i lose overall fat it will go away? It runs in my family but i never had it until i recently gained 10lbs. I really dont believe in those "magical cellulite disapearing creams"

Are they any vitamins that maybe help break up stored fat or something haha just a thought :)

I would LOVE the answer to this! I love my legs, but the back of them has cellulite and it sucks! LOL

I don't know of any vitamans. I only know of creams. I know cocoa butter is for stretch marks, but I think it'll work for celluite too.

Cellulite is just stored fat. an article about it. Creams and vitamins won't help :) Just old fashioned good eatin' and working out.

Sometimes it does appear as though it's genetics, but it's more so that all women have honey-combed shaped patterns. That shape is what causes the dimpled look.

Forget the creams, work on changing your nutrition so that you eat clean and workout. I don't know what you do for training but it maybe time to rethink how you train... How many fit guys do you see with celulite??? I don't know of too many!! Take a cue from the fellows and kick the way you train up a bit. Look into Craig Ballentyne's Turblance training for fatloss and get your body fat % down then the celulite will go away. It is hard work but worth it!! If it were easy then everyone would have their ideal perfect body, whatever that is for each individual person. If you want it you will succeed, just don't do a half assed effort or you will not see the results you want. Start reading and get info on diet and training... There are a lot of great resources out there. Just my opinion.

I agree that creams don't work. I have a little cellulite on the backs of my leggs and is starting on the front. Also, my daughter is 18 and is 5 foot 2 and 105 pounds. She is in great shape and is starting to get cellulite. I believe cellulite is hereditary and that diet and exercise has minimal effect on it. I have friends who are heavy, do no exercise and eat whatever they want and they have no cellulite. I have read online about a treatment called Endomology (I think I spelled it right) and it is a machine that looks like a vacum and it suck up the fat rolls it and compresses it. (This is my take on how it works.) Sounds gross but supposably it reduces the effects of cellulite. Of course it has a price. Between $65 and $100 per session and you need at least 10 sessions to see results. Plus you would need to continue going once a month for maintenance. As much as I would love to have tried it, way too much money.

I heard about this once, goaltobefit. lol Why not try a vacumn cleaner. Just kidding as that's what I thought when I saw the ad. Good luck.
