Cellulite on Quads

Hi
I'm 5'7", 127 lbs.... I do interval/step aerobics 4 times a week. I can't seem to get rid of the cellulite on my quads. Can anyone suggest some weight training exercises that would help? Thanks

A source that is to the point on what cellulite is, and why woman tend to develop cellulite in the subcutaneous fat layers.

And a site dedicated in assisting persons with this problem:

And a piece of "their opinion":

In order for cellulite reduction to occur, one or more of these factors must be met. First, the fat cells in the subterraneous layer of fat must shrink significantly. Secondly, the fat cells must become separated from each other and have enough space between them for proper lymphatic drainage to occur. The body’s ability to drain unwanted toxins and lymphatic waste from the body must improve, reducing undesirable swelling in those areas of the body. Third, the connective tissues must stretch and become elongated, thereby improving skin tone and elasticity. Lastly, hormonal conditions must stop fluctuating and stabilize, reaching a better hormonal balance.

========================================================

Like any other fat or fat cells within the human body, cellulite fat will respond to calorie-restriction (and face some possible complications in loss as with other problem areas within men and women) and is burned off by allowing the body to burn fat for fuel (and exercising), but as the stored fat goes away - the fat cell is still present and can refill if calorie excess resumes in a trend.

I wish you the best on trying to resolve this problem.

The best defense is a sound educational offense in what you are trying to resolve.

Then take an educated reaction.

Track the results and adjust if necessary with "another" adjusted educated reaction if the former didnt work, and repeat, as often as necessary.

Don't worry. You have the tools within you. You dont need anything more than this. Put the mind and body to work for you, and you will NEVER regret it.

Welcome to the site, young lady.

Be Proud, you just made the first step toward success.

Best regards,

Chillen
