update

I'm eating from 1200 -1550 calories a day but i wasn't adding everything into my counting so 1500 more often than not.

Since i'm not very heavy it is really hard to lose since i don't need many calories.

I am feeling good though. That eliptical really makes me sweat.
 
update

ate about 1400 calories today and allowed myself a small bowel of icecream. I did about an hour exercise today. 30 minutes on the treadmill and a half hour walk with the dogs and my hubby.

Still hovering at 60.5kg on the scales but hopefully they will move down this week. will keep exercising and eating well and see how i do.

A bit tired tonight. I did weights at the gym yesterday.

It;s been a beautiful weekend in canberra. My hubby came to the gym with me yesterday which was great. He is so fit without trying too hard. he spent almost and hour on the eliptical at an intensity of 12. I wish.
 
My mum lives in Canberra and my three boys were born there. Canberra has fantastic bike paths, have you tried riding as a good form of cardio ?

I got on the scales today and it showed i lost 1/2 kg last week. I am now 60kg. Yippe. the extra exercise and no cheating on the diet has helped.

Hopefully another .5 kg this week and i'll be happy.

Trusylver. Yes canberra is lovely and the bike paths are great. I don't have a bike to go riding but i might get one in the near future for something different. I know that once i lose all the weight and to keep it off i will need to do interesting cardio to keep it off.

Bikes would be a good change. I also want to get the wii fit.

hey cazza!..u seem to be doin really welll!!!..good onya gal!..how much did u weigh to begin wiv?..i think the last few kilos are probably da hardest...and we are usually hard on ourselves anyway....dont forget, normal weight fluctuates 1-2 kilos overnight for most!..:D

My starting weight was 63.5kg so not that much but a little pudgy.

Currently I'm 60. I would like to get to 57kg but at 58kg I'd be happy.
 
fell off the wagon

Well I had a huge splurg on food this week.
Wednesday night i drank wine and ate heaps of food. About 3000 calories for the day.

I ate a bit more than allowed yesterday .1700 calories

Well today I'm back to the gym and working out. Hoping to keep the calories around 1200 - 1300.

My weight jumped up to 61.3kg but i know this is from the binging.

Well I'll keep on trucking
 
bad week

Well I've had a pretty bad week food wise but i'm not giving up.

Yesterday I had some wedges with sour cream and chilli sauce. Yummy.

Any way back on the wagon today.

about 500 calories so far.

I'm going to keep the calories low today and tomorrow so I don't put on weight this week.

back on the wagon

Well i'm back on the workout wagon.

I ate really well over the weekend. 1100 calories on saturday and 1400 calories on sunday.

Today i have eaten about 1100 calories.

sunday I did about 2 hours of exercise with cardio strength training and a dog walk.

Well i put on about 100 gms last week. I weighed in at 60.1 this morning. Here's hoping to get into the 59s this week.

I learnt something about myself last week. I am an emotional eater. I had a really stressful week at work drank a couple of red wines and ate ate ate.
 
Cazza-anyone can do well when things are going right, the great thing about all of this is you realized one of your weakness's and are persisting despite your bumps---good job!

I'll try to get into the 150's this week (and stay there since I have bounced back up) and you try to get into the 50's---deal:seeya:? Sounds funny saying 150 vs 50:smilielol5:!

I went to the gym at lunch today cause work was sooooo tense. I do project management work and the project went to the poo. Trying to get it all back on track and keep people happy at the same time is a real juggling act.

Anyways I'm on holiday's next week to the whitsundays. Can't wait.

I haven't lost as much as I would have liked but I am a bit smaller and won't feel so self conscious in my bathers. This week I'll be happy with a small weight loss.

I'm off to the gym tomorrow for more weight training and atleast 40 minutes of cardio.
 
Starting again

Well it's nearly a year since i last updated my diary and the weight has increased in the last few months.

I'm now 63.5. I never got to 58kg but that is still my goal.

Food for today:
Muesli, apple, piece of chesse, couple of rice crackers, bean salad, tomato gnocchi, snow peas and some coffee

Total calories around 1200
 
Well, good luck to you and it's good to have you back. I've been gone for almost a year as well after having my son but I'm back on as determined as ever. We'll get there.
 
another day

Well i was doing so well for 4 days then had some wine yesterday and today. I binged on chocolate biscuits yesterday after the wine. I didn't eat too much with the wine today but will have to have a very small dinner.

The first week of trying to do the right thing and already buggered things up.
Just gotta get on the band wagon again.

I haven't exercised yet so I also have to fit in walking during the week.
 
some weight gain

Well after the two days of a bit too much food and some wine my weight has gone up .5kg. I'm not surprised.

I just need to keep going. I'm annoyed at myself for allowing a slip up in the first real week of starting to diet again

I'm starting my exercise today. a 1hour walk at lunch time.

If i bring in the exercise and eat better I should see the scales move a bit quicker. I also have to giveup the take away coffees. I only have a skim flat white but there's still calories in the milk.

Here's hoping for a drop by sunday
 
loss

I'm pretty happy. I lost weight last week and am down to 62.6 in the mornings.

The main change I did last week was stop snacking after dinner and I think that made a huge difference. i also did a couple of 6km walks.

I'm hoping to be around 62 by the end of this week. i will allow myself one cheat meal during the week. This week it will be asian noodle house yummoooo.

Going for a long walk at lunch time today. It's the first day of spring. sunny and just lovely outside. Gotta get this wobbly ass moving.
 
damn

I was looking at my previous post and how happy i was about losing weight. Well i stuffed it last week. Ate too much and put all the weight back on that I had lost.

I'm also on some medication that makes me really hungry which is a pain.

I'm back on the waggon today. I'm going to do an hour walk at lunch time.
 
starting over

oh well i put all the weight back on in the last week and a half. I've started exercising again and will watch what i eat.

I'm annoyed at myself but will start over.
 
You'll get there despite the setback, sometimes it just takes a while to set the right rhythm. That sucks about the meds though.
