Update

I ate a bit more than I hoped yesteray. About 14-00 - 1500 calories. Ok for maintenance but not for weight loss.

I've eaten well so far today.
1 x banana
1 x salad with avocado and tuna
1 x apple
piece of left over chicken
baked snapper sweet potato and salad for dinner

I'm joining the gym this arvo so I'm hoping some resistance training will speed up the weight loss I joined the gym but have to get a medical clearance before i can do anything due to a heart condition. I'm seeking the doc on wednesday so will get the clearance then. I feel good and productive.

Doing well

I am progressing well.
I decided to do my measurements last night and there has been progress.
I have lost 6cm on my waist
2 cm in my hips
and 1.5 cm off each thigh.
I didn't think I had moved forward so much. The size is starting to come off my hips which is excellen.

Eating today has been good
trail bar for breakfast
banana
apple
salad with tuna for lunch
pierogi gwumpki and vegies for tea
1300 calories today

Feeling a bit low

Well I've been doing regular exercise up until recently. My back has been playing up and today I woke up with no pain. I thought that was great but my back went out again later in the morning. I was looking forward to getting back on the treadmill and doing some exercise tonight but it will be complete rest for the rest of the week except for coming to work.

I was feeling sorry for myself and wanted to eat a block of chocolate but haven't done so yet.

I'm so pissed off. Not being able to exercise makes it so much harder to lose weight.
 
Neurofen plus

I found neurofen plus yesterday. It is great at pain management. Even though I haven't been able to exercise I am doing great with my food. I didn't crack and eat the chocolate yesterday.

Got on the scales today and was 61kg. I'm a bit heavier at teh moment due to TOM. It always makes me hold about 1kg water weight.

It's a lovely day here in Canberra today. Warm and no wind. Beautiful sunshine here and my clothes are baggier.

exercise

I got back on the treadmill today. Feels good to do some exercise again. I stepped it up to see if i could jog and I finished 2.5 minutes of jogging which is more than i have done since i was 16. I am very happy with that, but i think i need to be careful of my back.

Only 4 weeks until my holiday and my aim is to lose 3kg in the next 4 weeks and i'll be at my goal weight.

This week i ate salad for lunch nearly every day and i really enjoy it. Salad with avocado and flavoured tuna.

well got on the scales today and it showed at 60.7 kg. My measurements have gone down a little. an extra cm on my thighs and legs.

It's a beautiful day here in canberra. Top of 25c

:hurray: for the 2.5mins. every little bit counts. I start out that way with running/jogging. Might not be the highest number ever, but its better than "0" or a few seconds! Good job!!!

Thanks all for checking in an providing some encouragement. I had an ok weekend. broke out a bit on saturday. wine chocolate and icecream.

got on the scales this morning and I'm hovering around 60kg. I'm hoping to get into the 59s this week.

I got back on the treadmill on the weekend and did an hours exercise on saturday which included 30min on treadmill and 30 min walking the dog. Well i get my assessment at the gym tomorrow.

I did my measurements last week and I've lost 2 cm off each thigh and about 4 cm off my stomach so I'm nearly a size 10.

Update

It's been a couple of days since i checked in.
I went to sydney to get the dogs eyes operated on.

I ate ok while i was there but one night i had takeaway thai and some wine which took that days calore total to around 1800.

Today I'm doing well.
1 trail bar
nuts and sultanas
fruit salad with low fat yoghurt
1 x orange
dinner will be thai beef salad
I'll try for 30 min on the treadmill but am feeling very tired
 
update

I went out to a party last night and ate alot and had some wine so my calories were pretty bad.

I'm back on the wagon today. I didn't lose any weight this week but i haven't put any on.

I had eggs benedict this morning and am having a small portion of roast chicken for dinner. should be around 1300 calories for the day.

I'm exercising for 30 minutes nearly every day so i hope that helps/.

Upped my treadmill exercise today to 40 minutes with 15 minutes of jogging.

I haven't lost any weight this week. Bummer but am hoping to lose this week. I'm not allowing myself any cheat days.

No change on the weight loss. Got on the scales and am 60.2. I just want to break that 60k barrier.

low fat cheesless pizza - absolutely delicious - made with wholemeal tortilla base chicken, vegies capers, spinach, basil. only 400 calories
20 min eliptical and 20 minutes weight training at the gymn so good for today.

keep up the good work cazza, you will get there. Maybe you are on a plateau. Could you throw in some strength work outs or more protein less carbs for a couple days?

Got on the scales this morning and i'm up to 61kg. What the.

I 've been eating really well and exercising. It's like i need to almost starve myself to lose.

I hope it's just a gliche.
 
dont get discouraged, day to day and week to week fluxes can easily get you down but they are fluxes and it will go back. For instance I know if I see my weigh go up more than 3lbs from prior day that PMS is coming!
 
update

Back down to about 60.5kg at the moment. I don't seem to be moving much on the scales at the moment. I'm going to change up my meals next week. Have more calories for breakfast and less for lunch and dinner. I'm also working out more so I may be building muscle.

My calories yesterday was 1525
Today I'm aiming for 1200.

went to the gym and did 40 min on eliptical treadmill and rower then about 20 min of weights.
I've worked out 5 days this week.

today i have had 2 pieces of toast
1 small ali baba

This week I'm giving up dairy to see if that makes a difference
 
if your cutting out dairy , make sure you still get enough calcium, it also looks like you may not be eating enough ? how many calories are you eating each day on average?

Don't get discouraged by the scales, are your measurments going down ? try having your bodyfat % measured at your gym.
