hey don't worry about being stuck in the 150s. i have only lost about 6-8lbs but have nearly lost 2 dress sizes...I'm gonna sound like a broken record but your inches are coming off!!! don't worry!!

I've been so sick. My nose is like a faucet. I've been wiping it so much I've created a crusty gross sore on my nose. Just thought I'd share. :ack2:
 
I'm on my way to better. I keep my trusty tub-o-vaseline by my side at all times now.

I started my PT class at Jazzercise and it's great. I can really feel that I've worked my muscles. Sore but not so much 'in pain'. The scale is slowly creeping back down.
 
The boy shrunk my favorite cashmere sweater. :cry: He was trying to be sweet and do a bit of my laundry while I was staying at his place. I shrugged it off and acted like it was no big deal, that I could stretch it back out but.... whaaaa!! It is just a sweater though.

And I cought a glimpse of myself in the mirror the other day. I usually don't look at myself unless I'm fully dressed. These PT classes are doing me some good. I've got a ways to go but I'm liking the progress so far.
 
sorri about the sweater - maybe one day you will fit into it again! unless its too small ofcourse ;)

I've been feeling grumpy. PMS. Jazzercise instructor is sick so we didn't have PT class on tuesday and had no class at all yesterday, so I sat home and ate in front of the tv. Of course I felt like such crap afterwards. For breakfast I've been having 2 slices of whole wheat toast with peanut butter and a cup of early gray tea with powdered creamer and splenda. For lunch I had 12 pieces of spicy tuna roll, and a fiber one bar for a snack. Dinner I went way downhill with frozen breaded chicken tenders, left over kraft mac and cheese and baked lays. It doesn't seem like a lot of food for dinner but it's not really nutritious at all. I did have a glass of OJ. Yoday I feel bloated and crappy... but it's a whole new day...
 
I'm very proud that my ribs and hip bones are now evident under a layer of my flesh but it's kind of annoying the way the underwire in some of my bras dig in to my ribs... I can't get rid of the underwire bras though. My girls need all the help they can get. ;)

So I'm back...

A few pounds heavier... married... moved...

It's been a while but I've missed the forums and I know I need the support if I'm going to get back on track. So here I am. It's almost 1pm but I'm going to go take measurements and weight so I can start keeping track. I'll probably make Friday mornings my official weigh in.. Anyway.. be back in a few :waving:
 
Hey Val! Happy Birthday to you too! Birthday was great. 30 is going to be a new year for me!


I got married on 08/08/08. I'll post pics as soon as they come back from the photographer. I hadn't lost the weight that I had wanted to by August but I GOT MARRIED!!! Things are going really well. He got a new job and we moved about 45 minuted north of where we bought our first house. I'm still looking for a job here but enjoying being the stay at home wife and getting the apartment in shape. We're starting fresh with our marriage so I figure I should start fresh with my weight loss goals again. This forum really helped me the first time around so I'm really sorry I let it fall away...

So here are my starting stats
Weight: 166lbs :ack2:
Upper arm: 13 inches
Lower arm: 10.5
Chest: 39
Waist: 33
Hips: 42
Thigh: 25.5
Calf: 15.5

I plan on posting my stats on the first of each month. (or as close to the first as possible).

So I'm working towards my first goal. I'd like to lose 12-15lbs by the end of October. I have a masquerade ball to attend on November 1st. I'm making my own costume so it'll fit no matter what, but I think I need something to work toward. So here goes..
I weighed myself this past Friday so I think I'll stick with that as official weigh in day.

For breakfast I had a bowl of raisin bran with fat free organic milk, and organic whole wheat cous cous with organic chick peas for lunch. Organic organic organic... I'm trying ;) A fiber one bar for snack. I need some protein :p
 
Yes, get in that protein--and you can definitely lose at least 10 lbs by Halloween.....hey I wonder if there is a Halloween challange anywhere on here??? Probaby would start on 10/1 but I think it should start sooner....
