Mornin' all :D Peanutty Buddy, I guess I can't sleep in anymore if you're gonna sleep until 9!! (Hey, its nine my time! LOL) DO you realize that the morning is taking its last gasp at that time??? LOL JK! Glad you are actually sleeping now :D

Fluff, glad you could stop in :D I slept longer today so I had to do something about it! LOL (see below :D) Its a wonderful sunday :D


Well, I went for my walk today :D 6 miles in an hour and a half!!! :D It was awesome! I think I feel better now after going the 6 in my own sneakers than I did going 4 in my son's clodd hoppers last Sunday! LOL

I just found out that my neighbor who has been so sick has lung cancer AND a blood disorder. She was healthy as a horse and walked all summer with me - out of the blue she got socked with a double whammy. So on top of my (lately) 50 hour weeks, I will be helping them out when they need it. She has to go two and three times a week for radiation (later Chemo) and blood and platelet replacement. Her husband has testicular cancer and alreaady goes for treatment for that. SO I will be helping out when they need it......

Food for today.....

100% Bran cereal
skim milk

chicken chow mein (no rice)
skim milk

Calories are lower than they should be so far, but I am planning on corned beef and veggies for dinner so I want to save enough for that. I'm not hungry anyway so, as long as I'm not snacking, I'm eating enough for now :D Well, gotta go finish my lunch (just got back from my walk a few minutes ago so I MUST eat it all :D)

I started to gripe at you for not having enough calories but since you will be getting them in with dinner, then that is OK. Lol! That is so nice that you are going to be helping out your neighbors but make sure you don't take on more than you can handle.

Hey, if no one else in my house is awake, why should I get up so early? You seem to be a little nuttier than me, all that waking up at 4:30 in the morning! :p

Uh, Peanutty Buddy, see below :eek: (AFTER you are done reading the rest!!! :p :D ). My neighbors are going to call when they need something and I told them I would get to it as soon as I could... this was in an effort to keep from running myself into the ground. I have been working almost 50 hours per week and as much as I want to help all the time, I just won't be able to run this house like I do and run when they call (unless its an extreme emergency). The reason you should get up early IS b/c nobody else is up!! ;) You get to ease into the day and enjoy some quiet time to yourself before the commotion starts :D Come on! Try it! LOL

total calories today: 1036 (hey, coulda been worse!!!! Dinner just wasn't as many calories as I had planned on :rolleyes: )

total water today: 64 oz

I am really surprised that I didn't have to nap today :D Last week I walked 4 miles and felt drained, today, I walked 6 and feel so much better than I have! It was so cold (there were ice chips in my water when I got back!) but it was so much fun! LOL Next weeks walking goal will be 8 miles I think..... We'll see :D

off to bug some o' ya .....
 
Nutty Buddy! Those calories are too low! You need to get a snack or something, or even a glass of milk to raise them up a little. Don't make me have to keep griping at you. Lol! No wonder you don't get all those points in with WW! What am I going to do with you? :D

Hi Scrappy :D I would have loved the results more if the scale actually moved this morning :eek: I felt good after my walk but lookin' at the scale this morning was SO discouraging!!!

I am stuck for the third weigh-in in a row! :( I knew I wasn't going to lose what I wanted to since I went over my cals. so much this week, but i hadn't prepared myself for another stall! GRRRR!

On another note, I started WW this morning :D Ate everything I normally eat for breakfast and planned my dinner (but won't post it until I actually eat it incase I change my ever changing mind :D). If I stick with my plan I get all my points and stay within my calories, too :D I also slept until my alarm went off at 530 this morning! First time since I started work! LOL

So far today...

apple
cottage cheese
2 sq. graham crackers w/ 1 T light cream cheese ( I really wanted a "poor me" cheesecake but this tasted the same with a lot less points :eek:)

protein shake

bologna sand. on light wheat bread and mustard

total points so far: 15

water so far: sippo :( but I am workin' on it soon :D

Okay, off to work - I'll pop in on y'all after work today :D

Good morning! DRINK YOUR WATER!!! If I have to, so do you. Just think, that could make all the difference when you're waiting for the scale to move.:) I hope you're off to a great start today!
 
Hey Nutty Buddy! So sorry you didn't see the loss you deserve. Don't worry too much because that number will start moving down again soon. I don't think it is because you went over your cals a little bit a couple of times though. Maybe it is because you are allowing getting about 1000 calories most days and that has stalled your weight loss. I know you don't want to hear that, but if your peanutty buddy can't tell you than who can? Lol! I've got high hopes for the WW, so maybe you will have a big loss next week! :D

Good morning! I agree with your Nutty Buddy.... you gotta get those calories up! 1000 is just too little for you to expect your body to let go of any weight! NO LESS THAN 1200 EVER!!!! ;) Keep your chin up though, you're staying committed and that's great! :D

missprincess and Angela, I SWEAR I am drinkin'! LOL I really am (now that I am out of work, I can guzzle all I want) :)

Peanutty Buddy, you could tell me the sky is really purple and I'd believe ya! LOL Actually, that thought HAD crossed my mind but I eat until I feel kinda sick so I really don't know how to fix it :eek: I will keep tryin' though :D I am hoping for BIG loss numbers come monday :rolleyes: BTW, trying to find those pics - will send them as soon as I find them! LOL :rolleyes:

Paula, glad you could stop in ;) I really am trying to get them up - I just tend to feel ill if I eat "too much" and eating every few hours isn't an option on work days. I usually eat at around 5 then protein shake at 8 then lunch at 12 then dinner around 6 or 7. I don't get out of work until around 4 or 5 (varies by day) and I found if I eat a snack at that time, then I'm not hungry at dinner AT ALL :rolleyes: SO frustrating!! I am NOT giving up though - I have come way too far to go back now :)

Hey Nutty Buddy! I'm back! Lol! I really don't know what to say about how to get those calories up. How many calories does the protein shakes have in them? Instead of drinking that, maybe you could drink slim fast or something that has more calories? The optima kind has 10 grams of protein. Or maybe just add in a glass of milk with chocolate or strawberry stuff added (to help with calories) while you are making dinner. I don't know. Just a thought! Lol! :D
 
Hey, Nutty Buddy, ANY thought is better than NO thought :p:D LOL The protein shake has 110 cals. and 20 g. protein.... I was thinkin' maybe of havin' two instead of 1 and it would hold me over longer between late morning snack and lunch :D Today, though, I will get in 99% of my calories, though :D

total points (goal is 24): 24 :D

A little better, calorie wise, and hit my Points goal on the nose :D
