Just finished BL High Intensity Cardio - Oh! My! GOODNESS!!! I thought I was gonna die!!! LOL But it feels good to have lived through it and not resort to the walking in place modification:D

May not be back today - goin' to the inlaws a few hours away and don't forsee being back at any sort of reasonable time tonight  Can't leave our birds for too long or they'll stop talkin', so.... looks like we make it a one day, all the people you can visit in a day kind of day :D haven't seem 'em since around thanksgiving so it'll be nice :D

Congratulations! 1 pound in less than a week! I wish I was doing so good with WW. Way to go on the workout! You are doing awesome! Hope you have a great day! :D

Wow! so you LIKE ding that kind of visiting!! hehe, I always felt that Thanksgiving and Christmas was PLENTY!:D But then again, its all in the 'attitude' like you shared above. I do like those quotes, thanks!

Have a fun, great day today. You deserve the break from all your hard work.

Mornin' all! Got back really late (1130pm) and wasn't really awake enough to post  Thanks to the time change (spring ahead w/ clocks) I got more sleep than usual ! LOL Clocks now say 8 am!!! I don't think I have ever seen that time on the clock when I've gotten up before (especially lately)!!!!

Nutty Buddy, I really think I wouldn't have lost that pound (due to TOM approaching) without all the exercise I did. If I had just done WW, I don't think I would have seen that. I usually gain at this certain time  The workout was a blast and I had a great day :D Off to see how you did yesterday in a minute :D

Kate, my in-laws (ALL of them) are so much like my family in character it isn't funny!! Its kind of like going to visit my favorite aunts and uncles (they are all older than me by a lot except for one in England) :D I really wish they lived closer - well, a LITTLE, anyway. Too close and they'd drive me crazy since they are so much like my family - Hey, I love my family but I want my space!!! LOL It was certainly a break! LOL See below and you'd understand!!! ;)

MO2, Yut, I do like 'em. I really had a good time despite getting there so late and getting home even later :D The one-horse town they live in looks like a city compare to where I live!! LOL We used to think there was nothing there to do, etc but now its like a whole new place to go :)

Well, I was really good on my points until we left.... well, until we had to stop for lunch..... I even packed a cooler of low point snacks for me and bottled up a bunch of filtered water so I wouldn't have to bug him to stop to buy some :D I brought my books of points and my little notebook to put them in and, even though I REALLY didn't want to, I recorded every little thing.. Not so good but as good as I was able to be considering....

Rest of food for yesterday:
2 slice LF turkey (0)
7 quakes (1)

celery sticks (0)
1 laughing cow - garlic (1)

Lunch at the diner: Chef salad w/ egg whites, ham, tky, amer. cheese, veggies, and italian dressing - no light dress./ lemon juice avail. (10 - est.)
Diet pepsi (0)

DInner at Denny's: Grilled chicken dinnner w/ green beans & rice pilaf (12-est)
diet coke (0)

total points for the day: 32 (so if I estimated right for lunch and dinner I used 8 flexpoints :( )

Water for the day: not sure since Hubby and I were sharing the bottles, but around 40 *sigh*

I was really disappointed that Denny's didn't have a larger "lighter" menu choice list. I really thought they'd have been one of the "better" ones, but even their salads are listed pretty high in the points. The book didn't list points for they kind of rice that I had so I est. but it wasn't a lot of anything so I think I estimated close... Now to be super good today to make up for the above mess!!! LOL

okay, time for breakfast ( I think my stomach is trying to eat my backbone!) :D

3 slc turkey bacon (3)
1 slc llight wheat toast - heel  (0)
1 garlic laughing cow (1)
1 whole egg (2)
2 egg whites (0)
8 oz skim milk (2)

told ya I was hungry :D hehehehehe

back later - wanna try to get my walk in whilst its nice :D

An egg?! I thought you didn't like eggs! Or is that only hardboiled eggs? Lol! You didn't actually get MORE sleep! You just lost an hour, silly! Lol! :D I wish I could exercise again. The treadclimber is calling my name! Lol! Congratulations on taking along healthy snacks and water. You might have went way over your points if you hadn't. You did really good anyway. The stuff you had wasn't really bad choices, even if they were a little high in points. Besides, you gotta change it up a bit to keep the body guessing! :D

Why is wheat bread "0"?
I don't think I was able to open the file you sent that explained how to calculate points. I was able to open the one that said how many points I could have in a day based on my weight, and the excel file w/ all the foods and points. But that was it. The one in corel (sp?) I definitely could not open. And regarding the web site, it is that you can only use the calculation tools if you are a member? Sorry to ask so many questions! I need to just dedicated the time and do it.

I love eggs!! Not so much the hard boiled ones, but I like them mixed w/ tuna or chicken or something. When I was pregnant and nursing, I did the Bradley Diet which requires 2 eggs a day. Yikes!! Do you ever eat your eggs poached? I read that it was the healthiest way to prepare eggs. I love them a bit runny on a piece of wheat toast! Yum!

Hi all! Well, for the next few weeks getting here will be a little awkward. We started to do some minor remodeling of our livingroom. The desk set up I had is no longer there so right now I am sitting on a too high stool using a too small "desk" w/ the keyboard on my lap and its in the way of the tv so I can't use it too long when they are watching tv  I WILL get here though :D I didn't get my walk in since we started the remodel - that had me huffin' puffin' and sweatin' so I guess it was a form of exercise

LMAO!!! Nutty Buddy, I like eggs very few ways. Scrambled, poached lightly, or runny yolks w/ cooked whites. LOL Its mainly the cooked yolks I can't stand. They taste putrid! LOL When I finally woke up this morning, the clock said it was 830 so my body thought it was 730 - I still got about 7 hours sleep since I went to bed after midnight! I felt pretty good about the food choices I made for meals but it still made me mad that I went over my points by so much. I got my body guessin' all right! LOL I am just afraid of what my official weigh in will say tomorrow....... OH PLEASE GO DOWN!!!!

MO2, I use a light wheat bread. It is 0 points for 1 slice and 1 point for two slices. My husbands bread is also a wheat bread but b/c it isn't a "light" version it is 2 points per slice. You got the important files to open so thats good. the other I sent was a poem that is already posted in my diary so if you want to read it look on page...... 62 I think of my diary :D As far as the website, the WW website you can only use the tools if you are a registered member ( I am not) but HH has a link to a site that calculates points for anybody, member or not. I can't remember what it is - sorry :( Never be afraid to ask the questions!!! I don't mind at all!! You DO need to set aside some time at first to figure things out and maybe make a list of your favorite foods and their points (to save you time later on) but after a bit it really doesn't take much time at all. I find planning what I eat for most of the day, including snacks, keeps me from going over my points too often and saves time when you know exactly how many points you have left for dinner :D I love poached eggs - if the yolk is kept runny and not cooked or half cooked. LOL I love egg salad and eggs in my potatoe salad, but to eat a hard boiled egg just as itself???EEEEWWWWW!!! LOL Yuck!! Can't stand it!! LOL Ohhh, I am with you on the runny over toast :D My FAVORITE way tto eat the buggers!

Addition to food for today:

6 slices LF deli turkey (2)
lettuce, carrot, red pepper (0)
3 T fresh shredded parm. cheese (2)
2 T reg. robusto italian dressing (2)
1 low carb hersheys choc. bar w/ almonds (3)
4 oz skim milk (1)

so that leaves..... 6 points for dinner, I think :D thats a good number for me.

Well, do to the minor remodel, our birds and cat are goin' nuts. One of the parrots had his home moved so when he went to fly "home" it wasn't there anymore and he got confused and flew into the wall. I think he hurt his foot a little so we'll have to keep an eye on him for a while. I am afraid he'll die of a heart attack if we dont' keep him with us a lot for a few days... It sure won't take much to literally scare him to death :( He might be a bonehead, but I'd miss him anyway...

The cat keeps going to all the "new" floor spaces and smelling them and wondering around. Kinda lost I think. We have not changed anything in the house like this for over 6 years so its major to all the animals... Well, the dog hasnt been inside since we started so he will deal with it tonight

Gotta run. I am in the way of the tv so I get to move... *sigh* can't wait until this is done!!! See ya later - I WILL!!

Oh no, Nutty Buddy! Don't tell me that! You gotta be here to keep the little men in the white coats from coming to get me! :p I'm gonna miss you! :( Be on as much as possible, ok?

I'll be here as much as possible :D I promise :D Besides, if I didn't come back often, the men in white coats would come get ME!!!!! LOL I just have to wait until the tv isn't on ( the mornings or when hubby is sleeping) or when everyone is gone/ busy elsewhere :D

okay, since I am most likely not goin' t' make it back later tonight.....

dinner was a p'k chop :D (6)

I think that makes 24... my WW books are around here somewhere - I'm just not sure WHERE!!!!

Total water: 32 oz + 24 oz unsweetened decaf hot tea

I won't be able to do BL in the living room tomorrow, but I am gonna try to squeeze it into the kitchen.... We'll see how THAT works

k, gonna try to make one last round tonight :D See ya in the mornin' :D

You're doing so well for such a crazy time! Don't forget to make the time to take care of yourself (if you don't no one will). I know what you mean about the animals freaking out. I put a new floor in and one of my dogs wouldn't walk on it AT ALL for a few days. It was like she thought I was trying to trick her or something!

Take care!

Hey Nutty Buddy! All you had for dinner was a pork chop? You know better than that. Ya need more than that. Shame on you! Lol! When did y'all decide to do the remodeling?

I'm so jealous!! I wanna remodel real bad... hopefully soon :)
your food looks good to- keep up the good work :D

I'm back (for a bit anyway  )

MP, I definitely will take care of me first (so to speak) since its the only thing that will be keeping me sane in this danged mess!!! We decided that anymore "major" things being done will result in our little bird being covered so he doesn't die of fright on us. He might be annoying but its a lovable annoying. LOL

Hi Nutty Buddy! Um. yeah. Just a pork chop. I really wasn't hungry so I had to suck up my points with something small. That fit the bill  The remodel wasn't originally going to be any major deal - move the furniture and put in the new carpet. THEN we decided that the customized wall unit that held our huge tv was just taking up too much of our tiny livingroom and it should go. When we pulled it down, there were holes in the wall (big ones where the wood went through it) and the plaster and wall paper were pulled off in spots and the wainscotting that was at the bottom was removed 6 years ago for the wall unit. Yup. decided to fix it all and re-vinyl the entry way, re-carpet the hallway, and all that other fun stuff. Hopefully it won't take too much time since this mess is driving me absolutely crazy and its only been a stinkin' day!!!

Thanks, Jess :D I have to try to be as good as I can with my food since right now I can't do my dvd (we weren't gonna start any of this until june, but the carpet came earlier than we planned).

Well, here's one for y'all! I was really hungry when I got up this morning so I grabbed my premeasured cup of cottage cheese and took a bite - only to discover that it wasn't any good!!!! Let me tell you, THAT was not pleasant first thing in the morning!!!! LOL YUCK!!!!!

Don't know when I'll be back tonight - most likely late since I have to run errands after work and this lovely mess is still around

food so far:

one bite of nasty cottage cheese (0) blech!!

FF yogurt (2)

not sure what else for today - kinda runnin' out of options..... Will post adjustments when I can :D

Okay, I forgot to mention I weighed in... It was so bad my subconcious mind must have blanked it out. I GAINED 1.2# since Friday's end weighin (.8 since my Sat. challenge weigh in)!!! HOW IN THE HAIL DID THAT HAPPEN??? Wait. Never mind. I bet its the bad creeepin' up thing  I wish it would hurry up and get here so it can hurry up and go away!!!!! Could've been the "off" day on Saturday since my points were so high - I don't allow myself cheat days and my body must know it :(

Anyway, off to RELUCTANTLY change my ticker :( I am supposed to LOSE weight on the challenges - not gain it

Don't worry, Peanut! I really don't think you have gained that much weight in just a couple of days. See, this is why everyone, including you, always tell me to not keep weighing myself all week. Your weight fluctuates, Nuthead! :p And we all know that when TOM is approaching, you are probably not going to get an accurate reading on the scale anyway. You will get through this! Don't get discouraged! :D

I know what you mean about that remodeling stuff driving you crazy. Last summer, we retiled our kitchen floor. It took way longer than we thought and we couldn't use our kitchen properly for a couple of days. We also painted our family room, our hall, our living room, and half of our kitchen. Then we got busy and then I broke my leg, and we still haven't been able to finish the rest of the kitchen. And when we took down wallpaper that was in part of the hall, we realized why it was there. A big old hole right in the wall. They had put some kind of tile stuff to cover it up and then put wallpaper over it. We attempted to fix it but it still doesn't look right.

By the way, didn't ya know you aren't supposed to eat nasty cottage cheese! :D

Have a great day! :D

Ok, so I am just bumping you up! :D I don't like to see you half way down page 2! :p Hope you are having a great day! :D
