HI all :) I am determined to make today a better day - even though hubby is home...

MO2, thanks, they are sweethearts (sometimes) :D Arranged marriage... Now there's an idea!!! You let me know when! LOL Boy, wouldn't they hate that! Right now they don't even like girls!! hehehehe Ahhhh, the things I can remind them of later! LOL

Beagle, we've seriously thought about it, but with the boys going to my ex every weekend and my business here, it makes it too difficult. When the boys move out we are thinking of doing just that. When they are out of high school, if they want to they can live with their father (we're positive that by then they will have enough smarts to not end up in jail for the stupid things he might teach them) and we would move out west..... Hubby lived out in Colorado and California for a while and my Auntie lives in Arizona - they like(d) it. Oh well, we have 8 or so years yet :rolleyes:

Well, I slept in late today (7 am) and I feel like I am way behind in my day! :rolleyes: I didn't have much time for "breakfast" as such so I get to have a slightly substantial snack. I'll need one or lunch will be at 9am!! LOL
Will be back to check diaries, etc. later :D

Not necessarily a bad day so much as I am disappointed with myself for letting him, unintentionally, change the routine I have gotten into. My routine is set so that I can squeeze every possible second out of my day and get everything done and having him here just puts it waaaay of kilter :( Oh well, tomorrow is another day and I hope he won't be home. MissJ, hello again. I will have to stop by "your place" later. I made the wedding dress with my mothers as inspiration. I loved her dress and really wanted to wear it and this is as close as I could get. I couldn't find a brow band i liked so I made one :D Weren't the boys cute. Too bad they grew up! KIDDING!!!

I know what you mean about kids being so cute when they are little. I don't have any yet, but perhaps one day I will squeeze one out. haha. I just can't image being a mom. Every mom I know has to have a "routine" just to make sure everyone is taken care of, them the mom's are usually left trying to find some alone time when everyone is asleep. Tell me it's worth it! I like sleeping in, doing laundry when I feel like it. haha. You sound like such a great mom, your kids are lucky to have someone who really cares! That's funny that your hubby is messing up the routine. hehe I hope he is messing it up in a "fun" way. wink
 
Hi y'all, thanks for the stop ins :) The posts really made my night. It has been a long, unproductive day although I feel better about the food choices that I made. I stayed within my calories but, again, didn't drink enough water and didn't get in any exercise :( PMS sucks! LOL I honestly think thats why my mood is still "blah". I don't usually get like this and its the only thing I can think of, besides hubby being home, that has changed...... come to think of it, the latter has disrupted my schedule enough that that could be it... (huh, well, guess you can figure out where part of the boys adhd came from :eek: ). MissJ, I WISH hubby was disrupting the routine that way! LOL Mother Nature just isn't allowing hanky-panky right now! LOL

Cassie, your journal is halfway down the second page! How could we let this happen?! :eek: Let's blame your husband for messing up the norm that way too, it seems pretty convenient ;)

I hope that you're able to get back into your schedule! I know I have little rituals I have to do at certain times like taking my vitamin supplements while I'm preparing breakfast... if something comes along and disrupts one thing, my whole day gets thrown off and I forget to do half my things! Come to think of it... I forgot my vitamins today! D'oh!

Hi all :D Just a quick stop in right now - Yesterday I did get back on track :D Just didn't have time to stop in to post. Hubby is back at work (at least for this week) THANK GOODNESS!!!!! It was good to see posts here this morning - it perked up a "crawl back into bed" kind of morning (I crawled OUT at 4 am:( ). I have to get the kids to the bus stop but I will try to make it back this afternoon :D I get to babysit Cousin again YAY! :D Thanks for checkin' on me :D gosh, I missed this place!
 
4 am? Whew....you are a better woman than I. Hope you have a great day! Maybe your routine will get back to normal now that dear hubby is back at work. I know when my hubby is home, the normal routine for me and the kids goes right out the window!
 
Ok. I thought my 5:15 wake up was bad.. but 4am? :eek: Well I hope you have a good day. At least ya didn't go back to bed and you're off to a good start!

at 4 am I have drool coming out of my mouth, my leg hiked up under my chin:p, and a snore that would embarrass the biggest of men. Thanks for making me thankful I dont HAVE to wake up that early! Glad to hear youre on that track again!
 
LOL Hi you guys :D Getting up at four really isn't so bad when you're used to it. The days I get up that early I really like b/c I get about an hour to get my day started GENTLY before all hell breaks loose! LOL Its a mental thing :rolleyes: I admit it - I'm mental :p :D

Fluff, it surprises me how little it takes for my comfy schedule to get all out of wack (and in such a tiny amount of time, too!!!). I know some of it is my OWN add kicking in but the rest of it is just plain "now what". I can't exercise when he's home as he likes his tv and I hate him to watch. I can't really go online b/c it feels like he's looking over my shoulder all the time (out of curiosity - he's just naturally nosey! LOL), and he gets bored so easily it reminds me of a little kid - " Mommy what can I do? I'm bored but Idon't want to do the dishes." I love him home but I love it better when he's out :eek: hehehehehe

NewLeaf, its a pleasure to read your journal :D Reading others' journals reminds me I ain't the only one in the world that is walkin' this path :D It keeps ME motivated :D

Kate, U R 2 FUNNY!!!! LOL It's nice to know I'm not the only female that can out snore the guys!!! hehehehe When I am sick I have to sleep on the couch just so hubby can sleep!!! :eek: LOL Poor dear! hehehehe

It is soooo good to be back "together" with my routine! I am such a baby! I like my comfy, cozy, mutli-tasking days. .... Come to think of it, my "routine" doesn't end until the boys are in bed! Hmmm whats up with that!? Oh well, a mothers work is never done..hehehehehe I'll be back tonight ( I can't stay away any longer!!!! :D )
 
EEEEEEEK!! I didn't make it back last night like I wanted to... :eek: hehehehe I was on the couch playing a ps2 game with hubby ... THEN I TURNED INTO A PUMPKIN!!!! Right in the middle of the game!!!!! LOL oops! :eek: Man, I can't believe I feel asleep - it was only 8:30!!!! LOL Oh, well.... I'm back now (another 4am morning - jeeze I hope he doesn't work tomorrow) :D Sleeping until 530 will be a treat!!! hehehe

Yesterdays calorie total was 1249 and I did tae bo advance for 20 min. along with 50 push ups and crunches (um, can anyone say OMG what pain! hehehe). I used weights for the crunches which was a WHOLE new experience :rolleyes:

Today so far..
1slice of light wheat bread w/ 1 TBSP peanut butter.... Not really good considering I am supposed to eat minimum of 300 for breakfast (Doc wants 1/3 of my calories eaten before lunch :eek: and I rarely eat a mid morning snack). Looks like I will have to have another "breakfast" for mid morning snack :eek:

WHOOOOBOY! I took a caffine pill with my ibuprofen for my migrane (I don't like my prescrip. med for it) and boy howdy let me tell you I probably should have waited until I ate something a little more substantial!!!! LOL I am shaking so bad I have to keep backspacing when I am typing as my jittery fingers keep hitting the wrong buttons!!! LOL I don't have to bother taking the car to the store - I could run the 10 miles, I think!!! LOL I don't drink caffine at all so when I DO decide to have a little (or take a 300mg pill) I can be the cars motor to save gas!!! Man! Hubby won't let me have coffee anymore when we go out - he says I don't shut up and I talk to fast to understand. If thats how I am on coffee, i think its a good thing that nobody is here with me now!!! LOL Man, I better go before I start driving everybody nuts!! I'llbe back if I haven't run to china!!! hehehhe
 
falling asleep was probably just your body telling you to get some more sleep :)

i hope your migraine gets better quickly
 
Hi Tru :D Sleep is one of those things that "sneaks" up on me on my early morning days. LOL I feel great one minute, the next I am in la-la land without even knowing it! LOL Its rather frustrating when that happens and I am on the phone! hehehehe oh well, sleep attacks don't happen often and I've gotten used to 'em :D

Caffine ROCKS! LOL I got SOOO much more from my tae-bo workout than normal!! hehehe My kicks and punches were solid - good thing I wasn't aimin' for a real person! hehehe The only problem was, I sweat so bad even my socks were sweaty - YUCK!!! :p :D Now if only the dog and the bird didn't go wack-o every time I did that workout.... I got to cussing at them 30 minutes in and lost my "edge" :mad: OHHHHH talk about a pisser!! :eek:
