I'm pretty proud of myself. We went to a burger joint, and I just got a single patty burger, iced tea, and no fries. /dances
Yay for self control!
 
:seeya:Wow, you are off to a great start! I love your 'can do' attitude. Congrats to turning down the fries...that's always been a weakness for me.
 
Well, it helps that the fries suck where we went lol. But still.

And yes I "Can do" Because I want it. Just like.... quitting smoking. You have to want it. No one can force you to quit eating excessively or drinking soda.

I also don't believe in denying your favorite food. You like McDonalds? Go have it like once a week. Make it your "Cheat meal" or something.

Just did a workout with "Billy Blanks". Yeah, I know. It's midnight. But late workouts are better than no workouts, right?

I love the sweat he produces. To me it means it's really working. Well that and the next day I'm sore as hell. It's very fast paced... Which is bad for my asthma. Plus.. I smoke. So that definately doesn't help!

I'm soaked from my workout. :ack2:

Right-o everyone. I'm off to lay in bed and read before I sleep. Night! Tomorrow we move onto phase 2 of the workout... oh boy. (What have I gotten myself into?) :leaving:
 
Haven't worked out yet today, I seem to have over done it yesterday... I woke up this morning to my back spasming. Nothing too bad, it passed.

Wednesday, May 27 2009 I had the WORST dream last night. In the dream, I gained over 20 lbs over night! I woke up and stepped on the scale just to be sure lol.

I move on to the second phase of TaeBo T3 today... wish me luck.

6:47 pm: Did phase 2 of my workout, not as bad as I thought but my side abs really hurt lol. A lot of it was stretching and such, and during the actual workouts I started to get weird pains in my shoulders so I took breaks.


11:08 pm: Ate dinner, 400 calories of chicken alfredo noodles and steamed broccoli. It was awesome. But that still only brings me up to 570 calories for today. (Had a slimfast earlier)

I am full. Like stuffed. and yet, i'm not getting enough calories. I just can't figure it out.

I threw in another slimfast for 'dessert' just to put more calories in there.

So, today I had a slimfast and probably about 1/4 of my Thai Teriaki beef. I can't believe how full i get so easily. Pretty amazing what happens when you actually stop eating when you're not hungry any more!

For dessert I had an apple and some peanut butter.

To stack on a few more calories, I might add a slimfast for um.. dessert dessert? lol

Mmmm I woke up two hours into my sleep. I'm grumpy. Why does this always happen? It's only been recently too. >< Casey wants sleep!!!!

I'm still irritated that I wasnt able to sleep. /grumpy

But I figure hey. Work out, go do my stuff then come back for a nice little nap. Sounds good to me.

Oh, forgot to mention... over thirteen lbs lost now!!! /dances

I'm alive. I swear.

I was up all night the night before, and fell asleep at about 4:30 yesterday afternoon... and Just woke up at 9:30 am.
 
Awesome job!! 13 lbs, Wow girl! Great job! i know what yoyu mean by getting full sooo much faster! its amazing!

Ah. I slipped last night and had mcdonalds. I didn't splurge or anything... but it definately didn't agree with my stomach.

On a happy note, I've managed to lose another pound! /dances

I had half of a pizza hut pizzone for dinner, and a lean cuisine for lunch, and a slimfast for breakfast. not a bad day.
 
^^ I did indeed... except now, my sleep is off. sleep all day, up all night, ya know....

well, today is just starting for me. I need a slimfast. I think i'll drink a strawberry one. :D
 
oooooooookay. Well, i had a rough couple days diet-wise. >< But hey, it happens, and i'm back, and still going strong. (I had cheese. So much cheese I prolly won't sh** for a week.) :puke:

Anyways. Yeah I'm back, i'm good i swear. now if i can get my sleeping back in line, i'll be fine.

For some reason, when my sleeping's off, (ie, sleep all day, up all night) it throws off my diet too. For me it's so much easier to have a slimfast in the morning, followed by good diet choices than at night. Odd, isn't it.

i've seen you around loads on the forum and keep saying i need to pass by but never get round to doing it. seems like your off to a great start and congrats on the weight loss so far! don't worry about the slip ups here and there as long as you get up and continue from where you left off which is what your doing...sounds like you have the determination so thats really great!

- billy blanks where do i even begin? lol! i absolutely love taebo, it's the one workout dvd i always recommend to everyone, i think it's really great, plus there's a whole range too. right now the house i'm living in has really loud creaky floors so i can't do my dvd workouts at the house but when i move me and billy are gonna be best buds again...lol! luckily at the gym there's a combat class which is basically taebo (but not as good) but it's still a good workout so i usually do that instead.

- wow, you have loads of animals! i love animals but since i don't have a place of my own don't have any...but hope to as soon as i get a place of my own.

- the only thing i wanted to mention was that your cals seem to be quite low...i just started using fitday.com just last week and would recommend it...it helps keep your calories in check. i think it would help to fuel your body much more especially since your doing really great on the workouts.

You stopped by before, & I never got around to replying back. I've been going on & off on Turbo Jam for the past two weeks & I hate how unenthusiastic I've been.

I'm glad to see that you have lost some weight though, keep the good work up! & Hope you get some good night's sleep soon! :)

I never heard of Taebo before, but I'll deffinatly be giving a look once I get some results from Turbo Jam.

I see you want to be a Vet Tech; it's actually what I want to do too, but there aren't much schools that I can go to that offer the program. I have a 8 months old Maltese, whose just adorable. What pets do you have? :blush5:
 
Ah well i'm quite ashamed of myself. I haven't "slipped" diet wise, but i haven't worked out in forever. Somehow, i've STILL managed to lose weight!! >.> No clue how. Not going to argue though. :)

Okay, well, I've been doing good, but I HAVE had some soda. I just can't help it! It's only been like one a day. Which is better than the eight or so I used to have. It's amazing. It's like a treat now. I used to hate rootbeer, but now it's like the most amazing thing i've ever tasted. It's so sweet and delicious. It's going to be my daily treat lol. (Hey with all the good i've been doing... it's okay to be bad.)

Besides, 170 calories. It can be my "dessert".

Ah, yes. Well, I cleaned my room for about three hours last night, so that will count as a workout. Trust me, i'm MESSY.

Like, disgusting, there was soda everywhere, in piles on my floor half as high as my bed. (Omg imagine the mold!) And i never drink all my soda, so everything was all wet and sticky. On my to do list for today: Finish room. Rearrange room. Vacuum and shampoo carpets. Go to mums house to finish watching Dead Like Me.

Not exactly in that order.
