Yeah, the tummy isn't feeling so good right now. My boss got me treats to "celebrate" the first week of summer (???). All I can say is that tomorrow will be a better day and I am bound to slip up sometimes.
 
I haven't been keeping up with this over the weekend, but I've been making pretty good food choices lately. Lots of veggies, keeping snacks to a single serving instead of just eating as much as I want. I hit the pool Friday and Sunday. It's closed today, but I'm def. going Tuesday. I feel great, and I'm in no huge rush to get results. My self-confidence is definitely coming back.

Yesterday:
Breakfast:
1.5 cups Go Lean crunch
1.5 cups vanilla soymilk

Lunch/Snack:
1 serving pretzels
1 serving trail mix (peanuts, almonds, cashews, raisins, M&Ms)
1 banana

Dinner:
1 serving Morningstar chicken
1 cup baby spinach
2 tbl salad dressing

Dessert:
0.75 C soy ice cream

Exercise:
pool, 600m freestyle and 300m kickboard work

The cals were down lower than usual yesterday but I didn't get out of bed until almost 11am.

Appetite was a little off today because I got my unwelcome visitor. I need more fruits and veggies!

So last night I had 2 1/2 beers and some Chex Mix.

415+150= 565

Total for yesterday--->2030

I had no idea beer had that much calories! Blegh. I still did decent yesterday though. I'll try harder today.

Just catching up. Glad you did so well last semester and glad you recovered from the ankle!

Focus on what you want and not what you don't want.
 
Hi Casey!

12 oz of beer is usually 150-160 calories, but pints at pubs are usually 16 oz, so that's 200+ a pop.

WATCH OUT! Fat Tire is 300 calories per 12 oz!! So if you drank 2 measly 12 oz bottles of Fat Tire, that's eqivalent to a large 600 calorie dinner!!! Oh BTW do they have Fat Tire where you live??? (Should be called Spare Tire)
 
Steve---I'm taking that last sentence you wrote and making it my mantra! The ankle is getting better but still needs more time before I even think about running.

CG- Never heard of Fat Tire, but I am far from a beer connoiseur. I usually prefer Bud Light, if that tells you anything. Haha
 
Just wanted to share a new pic! The lighting's not great but you can get a general idea of my shape. I'm really happy with where I am and just focusing on getting as much out of my nutrition and my workouts as I can.

I promise, I'm not trying to cut out all my calories. This is just how it turned out yesterday.

Exercise:
Swimming, 30 minutes. Front crawl, breastroke, and kick work. Approx. 800-1000m (I have a hard time keeping up).

I think part of it is living on my own---I don't eat out nearly as much as I did. I'm also trying to get a single-serving of whatever I'm eating to make the food last longer.

Good news---waist is now 27.5 inches! Hips are 38 inches again! Thigh circumference is still the same, the largest part at 24 inches.
