Carn't seam to shake these cravings

So basically I basically have this craving problem.

I exercise often and eat healthy most of the time

I'm 19 and live at home with my parents and my house is just full of a million different types of chocolate and junk food items. And when I am at home they are constantly being offered to me (mainly in the evening after dinner) by my parents, because the eat chocolate every night.

I know I'm not hungry I make sure I have a big dinner so I shouldn't feel like eating something, but 7 out of 10 times, they cravings will start and I will end up eating something small then something else and this continues until I'm really annoyed with myself.

Even if I'm not near my parents or the any food I just feel like I have to eat something even if I'm not hungry.

I sometimes go a few days but then the cravings get too strong and they get to me.

I need some help please? I need to loose a few kgs before summer.

This has been going on for far too long and I need some tips to get me through.

Thanks in advance, Ben

Agree with the above, many cravings are learnt and can be unlearnt. Its hard at fitst but gets easier the more you chose an apple over a chocolate bar.

Also, could be hormonal. Some hormones can trigger sugar cravings, for this reason its a good idea to keep a diary so your forewarned and snack on things like fruit (thohg careful of dried fruit which is high in calories) sugar free gym and sugar free boiled sweets.

If you find they don't go away and are around for more then 2 weeks, go see a doctor as you could be in need of certain vitamins.

Its natural to feel cravings and hunger pangs- when you lose weight this is just a side effect. Bodies generally don't want to lose weight and kick up a fuss when you do try. Try going for a walk or talking with a friend until the cravings die down.
