Cardio, my killer.

So I've been regularly lifting weights for about 3 months now, I've seen good results in muscle building (would like to work on Triceps a bit more) and a little weight loss due to a dietary change.

I want to get into some Cardio. But I have trouble on knowing where to start. If I jog for 30 minutes, I am exhausted, which indicates a lot of work is to be done in this area.

I can jog for 15 minutes just fine, but I want to know if this is a good enough start? Should I be pushing myself more at first, or building up from 15 minutes?

Advice appreciated.

Dan.

What is your goal for cardio? Are you looking to improve cardiovascular endurance/performance or lose fat/stay healthy?

Not saying you NEED to choose one, but if you only want one then there are different things that would work better.

Very true....
It sounds like you are looking for simple endurance, Dan? Is this correct?

It's more for fat loss. Although muscle training is coming along nicely I could still do with losing some fat, haven't done cardio in a while.
