Cardio high heart rate - how far can it safely go

Hello

Quick question on Cardio and heart rate. I am 32, in pretty good shape. When I perform my cardio I usually am pretty intense

I noticed on of of the machines that fat loss heart rate is between 105 to 165 for a heart rate.

Usually I go past that and settle around 170 when I do my routine. The last week I decided to push it even more and my heart rate actually hit 200 during the session. Is this too much, I feel fine, not feeling dizzy or anything, and when I stop my heart rate goes down very quickly.

I just wondering how much is too much in regards to heart rate

Don't quote me, but I think the formula for determining your max heart rate is 200 minus your age...so 168bpm is your max heart rate.

Ahh, found a site that'll help you. Apparently the formula isn't set in stone.

220 - age

but it all depends on ur fitness Lv.

I used to get real bad at 160bpm when i was 18

now im fitter and 21, i train to 160 for 5mins as a warm up

after my weight work out i spend 2mins getting to 150
5mins at 160
5mins at 170
2mins at 180
1min at 190-200
2mins at 180
1mins at 200
2mins at 170
5mins going to 140
