Cardio during Weights

I'm looking to gain weight. I currently only do weight training 4 fullbody workouts a week. I was wondering how much cardio whether it be a hard session or a brisk walk would be benefical for me. I figure some cardio should be done.

When trying to gain or bulk you should not do too much cardio, but of course some will help with cardiorespiratory fitness levels. Id say do one or two HIIT sessions a week depending on how much you're eating.

I would go with once a week, but not HIIT, and keeping it in the moderate level/speed, between 60-70%.

do you want to gain muscle weight or just weight in general?
HIIT doesnt burn as much muscle as other cardio types i have heard, but burns more cals and fat, but stays away from burning protein and muscle.

My goals are to gain any weight some fat and mainly muscle im 143 I want to be around 150. I'm guessing a few walks and one intense session would be good. Walks just to speed recovery.

What is your current height?

I sometimes go for a run around the street before my workout.... It gets my heart pumping, and ready for a big workout.

If I were you, I wouldn't do any cardio thats going to burn fat.... Worry about that when you've completed your goal.

5'10. I think im just going to eat more carbs to gain weight as I've just been getting most of my carbs from fruits and veggies.
