Can't feel the burn

I work out 4 times per week, but i only have a set of dumbells and i haven't the time to be at the the gym all the time. I work my chest, my arms and my shoulders/back.

But i can't seem to feel my deltoids getting worked. I work them well but i still don't feel enough burn from them and so i don't think they are growing as well as they should do.

Has anyone else had a similar problem, If so plz leave me some tips/advice over this.

CBL - Just wanted to mention that lack soreness does not always equal lack of growth.

I have added a couple links to delt/shoulder training that you may find useful.

Most of the suggestions in the articles can be adapted to your personal equipment restrictions and/or you can work them in when you do find time to hit the gym.

I would suggest increasing your resistence by using a heavier dumbell. Could be your muscle is used to your workout, therefore it's not doing anything for you. Try adding 10% of what you're currently lifting, and see if you don't feel a burn from that.

Hey, thx for the advice ppl, u've been really helpful.

I added an extra 5kg to my shoulder press and varied the number of repetitions to shock my delts. Seems to be doing the trick for now.

Hmm...time for another shake

Thx alot :D
