Cannon's Journal

I'm still here. Today was homework and phone calls. Tomorrow will be meetings I still want to get to everybody else's diary soon.

Hey Cannon,

Good to see you are hanging in there and keeping the spirit up. Of course you wouldn't be Cannon if you didn't. You are so persistent - an inspiration to all here:)
Well, have a nice day

Thanks everybody, I'm back on track this week. I think I'm going to finally lose all that beer weight. I am exhausted and stressed though and I know how crummy that is for dieting.

Thought I'd pop by to say hi! I'm right there with you! I am so tired & stressed at work! It's hard but we can do this! I know it. You rock! Thanks for letting me in on your weight loss story by being here! :)

Interesting little field trip coming up at our school. I had to take a field trip last Spring which required walking my class to a high school that was 8-10 blocks away. I was sweaty, tired and exhausted when I finally waddled to the end of the journey. It was probably the thing that most made me start losing weight. Now, we may be going back right before Christmas. I really want to walk this trip again just so I can see how much I've progressed.

Wow sounds like it should be interesting!! Good Luck! ...not that you need it..lol you're doing great!! :D:D:D

Wow Cannon,
I was thinking about the little things like that today, being about to fit in places where I can't, do things that I haven't been able to do, comparing myself to the way I was, etc.

I'm sure you'll feel a great deal better with this upcoming walk than the last one. You're really doing awesome. :D

Well I weighed in today at 411.8. I can't pretend I'm thrilled to lose less than a pound for the week, but I'm ecstatic to be as light as I've been since this started. I ate very well this past week and while the results aren't there yet I'm hoping they'll be there when I make it through Thanksgiving. I appreciate all the support I get here. I think I just made it past a bit of a brick wall.

Cannon!! I feel like it's been so long since I've stopped by your diary....shame on me! How's your school year going? So far mine's going well, I'm not enjoying teaching in the hallway next to the boiler room but I did get $10,000 in new equipment so that's way cool. I'm sure you're 10 block trek to the high school will be so different for you this year--yeah!!

Hi Cannon! Even if it was a little loss, it was a LOSS and thats what you are working for. I hope you have a great weekend (the rest of it anyways) and that next week is kind to you on the scale. Keep up the good work! and as for the 10 blocks, you can do it, you already did once last year.

Hi Cannon!! You're going great, even if the number isnt as big as you hoped. It's still a loss right?? Small steps!! ;):D Have a great Sunday!!

Just stopping by to shake my pom poms and let you know you're doing great. Slow and steady wins the race, right? Keep up the great work!

Hey Cannon,

Not that I think you have forgotten but just think of that poem about that 1 pound someone posted in you diary. A pound is a pound:)
Sometimes I also get a dissapointed but then I do the flour test. I grab that bag and think this was one you body, or at least something similar to these 2 kilos, not so long ago. Just to put it a little in perspective. Well, have a nice trip and walk:)

a single pound lost is a good thing - they add up... over the course of a year that's 52 pounds...and some weeks youo have more... keep going in the right direction
