I did pretty good yesterday. It happenned just like I said and my sister was in the mood to "pig out before eating sensibly for Lent". I decided to go with her. My pig out was a chicken caesar salad from Leonas and a small soft serve ice cream cone. The ability to enjoy social gatherings and conversation without blowing things is very important to me.

Excellent that isnt piggin out in anyway or form - hell I would consider that good in my books - looking good and sounding good as usual - what are you giving up ???

Im the same - the ability to be able to appear like im pigging out with friends and still staying under my calories is an awesome skill.
It makes you feel like you're fitting in and doing what they are.

When i go to pubs i drink diet cola - people just assume it has rum or something in it.
When i go to a wedding i eat a place with a smaller portion of meat and more veges so im still eating within my calories but i appear to have a huge amount of food on my plate (and i get full fast so i dont need the deserts lol).
 
This week has been harder than last. I'm getting there. I'm focusing on the journey and not the destination, but this week has been tough. Does seem like it has almost ended though :)
 
I'm sorry to hear it was a hard week for you, Cannon. Sometimes it happens that the goal just seems too far and unreachable. I'm sure you're going to do it, you have the right attitude. Plus, you're one of my inspirations on this forum, you can't let me down! ;) :p

Like everyone said you didn't pig out (I actually went back to see if I missed something while reading it the first time) You're doing great, and of course some days are harder than others, but thats what really caracterize a victory: how you deal and don't let the bad days ruin it all. I know you, you'll deal just fine with it and continue on:) Its all part of the journey. Have a grea day!!!

Thanks to everybody for all the support. I want to apologize that I haven't been good about getting to other diaries this week. I will get to them tomorrow or Saturday I promise. There is a direct connection between how much time I spend on here and how much weight I lose. I know I have to make the time for it because it makes such a huge difference for me.
 
I'm down .6 pounds for the week. That's not great, but like I said last week I'm really trying to concentrate on the lifestyle change and not on the scale change.

1. Going out with my sister for "pig out" of Caesar Salad and an ice cream cone.
2. Going to the bakery and getting treats for my parents that I didn't partake of.
3. Staying in moderation over the weekend

Bad:

1. I did have too many doughnuts
2. Still need more exercise
 
Hey Cannon,

You know 0,6 lost is better than nothing or dare I say it: gaining.
So don't dread it, remember the small losses all adds up to the big goal:) And its good your getting back to it, we can do this!!!!

Hey you - sorry I havent been able to be around to much - Ive been pickin up the work load of 2 for the last two and a half weeks - its gettin a little insiane and over whelming - early mornings - late evenigns - blah blah blah - take care Cannon - Im rooting for ya
 
I feel like a jerk because of my lack of posting in other people's diaries this last week. I've been trying to get resumes done and its been slow. Friday was a rough day for me--fried fish and beer. Saturday was good. Sunday was good. Not happy about Friday, but I'll take a bad day over a bad weekend. I'll be in your journals this week reading all your innermost thoughts BWA HA HA HA!
