can you bench this?

i was curious about this. who can bench press his/her body weight for 4 sets of 10 reps? perfect form of course. just curious. and of course, with a lil bit of spotting.

not me :(

A good rule of thumb is you should be able to bench your body weight for 12 reps, which I assume is roughly equivalent to 4 sets of 10 reps (with a 1-3 minute rest between sets? I guess it would not be as impressive if you rested an hour or more between sets!). However if you can do that you are probably in the top 1% of the population as a whole and the top 5% of people who work out regularly. Don't forget to do squats, deadlifts (150% of body weight for 12 reps), bent rows and pull ups (body weight for 12 reps) as well to keep yourself symetrical and prevent injuries! Hand stand pushups (body wieght for 10 reps) are another excellent exercise requireing strength, balance and coordination to demonstrate your fitness level.

abear thanks for replying. Why arent u other guys and girls replying? Im just curious, I can barely do it myself. Its really hard, thats why I wanted to see who can do it. No judgements here.

I cant, i can only bench 80 for 10/3 and i weigh 155...itll be a long while before i can bench my own weight

I mainly do strength workouts so i don't usually do 10-12 reps, But i can do 90kg for 3 at 70kg. So I think I would be able to do 4x10 of my body weight.
