Can running alone help me lose weight here, here and there?

Congrats on getting down 100lbs. I'm new and at about 200-210. I plan to get back to 175. I was pretty athletic, but haven't been consistent in about a year now. I have a goal to be down to 175 by mid April or May at the latest. This thread is very motivating!

Just try to do SOMETHING to get your heart going every day and eat smart.

Okay everybody! today marks week 48 (exactly 11 months) and I have officially lost 101 pounds from my 270 high! I weighed in at 169 this morning!

it took 8 weeks longer than I wanted haha but I got it!

I am excited because One month from tomorrow (March 7th) will mark my one year of diet and exercise lifestyle =)

Hey everybody!!

Long time no update... so after I reached my 100lb goal my life changed around a bit.. school got really busy and I started a new relationship with an awesome girl ive known for a long time.. Needless to say, i have been busy and quite tired from my schedule alone.. Likewise, I stoped my running routine in february and my diet definately started slacking on the rules. I gained about 10 lbs back rather quickly, and It just stayed there for the past few months. I think that is just where my body wants to be (without diet/exercise).

Anyways, since school is winding down, and my girlfriend's dad wants to lose some weight too.. Im getting back into my routine! I am going to be Downhill mountain biking Mon, Wed, and Fri. and I think Ill try to do my runs on Tues and Thurs nights..

The biking was my GF's dads idea.. a common interest, and I will most likely be running by myself again..

anyways, just wanted to give an update and let you know ill be around!
