Sport can i work abs ever day and get results?

for optimum results? nope.

3x a week for abs is more than enough for all but professional athletes. (and even then...)

I would not recommend doing any muscle group everyday and the same goes for abs. As previously mentioned, do abs about 3 times a week with a good balance of both sides.. meaning: if you do 100 crunches always flip over on your stomach when you are done and do a "press up." This will help you avoid back problems. Core strength is key to any weightlifting movement. Look up some physio-ball core exercise.. Juan Carlos Santana has a few workout videos on youtube for core strengthening.
 
That is not necessarily true. You can train your abs everyday and get substantial results.

I didn't mention anything about results - i mentioned overtraining

I suppose malkore hit the nail on the head.....you wouldn't get optimum results.

And it is likely you would overtrain a muscle group at some point if working it on a daily basis.
