Can I do this for the rest of my life?

Weight: 167.2
Vitamins – yes (day 29)
Exercise – yes (day 2) Did 2 walks today. 6km this morning and 5 km tonight.
No Sugar – yes (day 15)
No grazing – yes (day 1) Started to graze and realized what I was doing and stopped myself. I find when I’m cleaning the kitchen after dinner I start eating the leftovers without even thinking about it.
 
Yesterday's report
Weight: 166.8

Vitamins – yes (day 30)
Exercise – yes (day 3) Did a nice 30 minute walk
No Sugar – yes (day 16)
No grazing – yes (day 2)

Seem to be having steady weightloss this week. Today's weight is 166.6 so I've basically lost a pound since Sunday.
 
Thanks guys. I didn't exercise yesterday - too much running around during the day.

The scale went up a bit today (167.2). Maybe because I didn't exercise yesterday?

So excited. Today I ran 4.5 km non stop. I need to redo my route so that I can add another .5 to it so I can go 5 km and that can be my regular run. Pace was 8:41 per km which includes a .5 km warmup.
 
This morning my weight was 163.7. Seemed way too low so tried again a few minutes later and it was 164.4. Tried again and it was 164.7. I'll stop here. That's still over a lb less than yesterday so I'm sure I'll be up tomorrow.

The running and walking I've been doing have really kicked off a good swoosh. I'm going to get out as much as I can while the weather is so nice.
 
Thanks. I went for a slow endurance walk today. Did a little over 9 km in 1:40. This used to be my long run and I miss it. The run is mostly out in the country. I used to listen to music and belt out the tunes to the cows. lol I miss those runs and that's what I'm looking forward to.
 
:D I used to sing to the cows on my way to school! They really don´t care that I can´t sing and it really raised my spirits. You´ll be back to running that distance again very soon the way you´re going.
 
Thanks LaMa. I'm really surprised at how fast it's coming back. It's been 15 years or so since I ran steadily. I've tried over the years to get back into it but never stuck to it more than a few runs. Now I crave my walks and my runs. I hope I can keep it up through the winter.

Weight back up to 165.4 which is more realistic. Down 2.1 from last Sunday which is major for me.

Today I restarted my Country Heat DVD’s. I did a 30 minute cardio workout. An hour or so later I tried to do a run but it didn’t work. Legs just wouldn’t loosen up. Not sure if it was just too much doing it after the cardio or if I should have gone directly afterwards when my legs were warmed up? Ended up giving up and walking 4 km.

It was disappointing after my good run on Saturday but sometimes that happens – great run followed by crappy run…
 
I don't see it as a great run, followed by a crappy run, I see it as being followed by a good 4km walk. Don't beat yourself up ShariLee. You are doing well :)
 
It may just be a case of having activated different movement patterns. After I bike I have a hard time walking/running for a while. Or maybe your legs were simply tired. Well done getting some variety into your work-out schedule!
 
Thanks guys. I've had this happen before. Just need to listen to my body. Today I did my cardio DVD followed by my weight toning DVD. I skipped the cool down of the first one and the warmup of the second and worked out for an hour. I've been losing weight steadily since I started running but I don't think I'm losing the inches I was with the cardio DVD and weights. I'm trying to find a way to do both.
