calves hurt ouch please help

when I walk for only a couple of mınutes my calves are realy paınful, I have not done a lot of exercıse the past couple of years I am a good 4 stone over weıght about 5ft 7ıns tall. I stopped smokıng 9 weeks ago,I lıve up a mountaın and walk my 3 dogs 2 cats each day up the mountaın, I try to get father each day I am ın realy bad paın, today I walked on the flat ın town wıth a bag of bread and my calves were hurtıng just as bad I thought ıt was the mountaın doıng ıt but now ım not so sure.

Hi Mark here .....Calf stretch will do for starters. Lean against a wall outstretch one leg behind you have other leg forward giving you balance. Push the outstretched back leg,s heel to the floor hold that position for over 30 seconds. Stretch both legs 2-3 times x 3 times a day. You should be getting relief in the muscles after doing this exercise for about a week. Hope this helps. Mark Gyminabox.
