LOL trust someone to be looking in the 10 seconds between me putting it up and changing my mind and taking it down!!! I only stuck it up because I was feeling like a size UK 14-16 rather than a 16-18 if you know what I mean?! @D

Just back from a 6.5km run - up the BIGGEST hill ever!! It just didn't stop! Like the first...3km were constant hill = felt SO good to get to the top though :D

Wow!!!!! Jjjay you look great!!!!!!!!
What a huge difference between your before photos and this one. I'm so happy for you , you really deserve it as you have worked so hard. I'm glad I happened to click on the link just at the right moment :D. Looking forward to reading Flumsey's reaction :)
Give me a few months and I'll be running up those hills right behind you :D

Sleep tight princess! You deserve it!

Got caught up on your thread and wanted to congratulate you on the pay raise and the journal article...and above all, the healthier you!

You are such a bundle of excitement....you sound great, feel great, look great....Awesome!!!

I am a sucker when my kids crawl in bed with us in the middle of the night. Whether its a bad dream or just their need for love, I always grumble so that they don't make it a habit, but then they always turn in to a sandwhich between my wife and I and fall asleep with a smile on their face. Its pretty cool.

Hope you have a great day tommoz and a great weekend!

Take care!!!

aww thanks for the message Flumes, you are a sweetheart :D
Motivation/confidence for me is all about momentum...once I start rolling and gather speed, its all achievable.

I might grumble about my daughter coming into bed, but secretly I do love cuddlying her...its just that sometimes she gets in the wrong way, and I get kicked in the face by the feet end!!!

<insert wolf whistle here> WOW! You are really looking great there!

Morning guys!
Another monday...another week...at least payday is comng up!!

I bought some new sailing gear over the weekend - a "sprayjacket" and other stuff...quite chuffed to be size M rather than L or XL! It only goes down to S and XS so not THAT much further to go hehehe. Going to lose a bit more and then buy a wetsuit - maybe the reward for getting to 176? I've found a big yacht race I want to crew on next spring, so got to start saving up and doing a couple of training weekends with the skipper over the autumn/spring.

Only just recovered from my mega run on Saturday (with all those hills, apparently I burned 438 cals in 59 mins of running!) so I think if the weather is ok, I'll go for another one when I get home from work tonight...same distance 4-5 miles) if I can!

Got a hellish work week ahead of me though - so much to do...so little time, plus I'm away most of next week on work, then off on the Friday for 2 weeks holiday in the Med!! W00H000 I can't wait!! 11 days and counting....

Food so far today:
Toasted english muffin with low fat spread, 1 poached egg - 169 +80 = 249 cals
Cup of tea - 10 cals

Righty-oh, off to work I go...!

Hi Jay, Can't wait until I'm running like you. Everytime I read about it , it make me want to run.
Well done on the smaller sizes. I was excited about fitting into medium shorts in a sports shop where the sizing always comes up small until my daughter told me that they were mens shorts. Can you imagine getting into a small size one day????? It would be worderful.
Are you coming to Mallorca or somewhere else in the med?

Hey guys. Thanks for the lovely message Sunflower!!

You'll be beating me on the runs in no time Val, you are progressing further and further all the time! I was full of good intentions today but got home after a killer 5 hour client meeting today - no break at all!! My next two days look even harder work as well so I'm shattered so no run tonight - straight into bed for me...overate a bit too - 1700 cals today. Prob got too much work tomorrow to go sailing in the eve which sucks. Oh well holiday soon!! Off to turkey so not majorca I'm afraid. Have been there though in the past and really liked it val. How did you end up moving there?

You look AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your picture with us. It's really more motivating than you probably realize to see you looking fantastic. :)

Also, that run sounds like a killer but good job finishing it! I can imagine how great the top of that hill was. :D

Shame that you're not coming here. It would have been nice to meet up with you.
How did I end up here? Well, My sister was a dancer and came out to work here 30 years ago, then my other sister came out here to visit and decided to stay. At that time I was split up with my first husband, and my son and myself were living with my parents. My Dad had a high stress job and wanted to get out of the rat race and decided to come to Mallorca as my sisters were here and my son and myself came with them. We had a bar in Palma Nova for about 15 years until mum and dad retired. It really is a nice place to live. I only live a 10 minute ride away from Magalluf but it's really peaceful and friendly where I live. Well that's it. If any of you ever come to Mallorca then look me up :)

You guys are great - thanks for the kind and motivating words Jana. I'm feeling a bit guilty that I haven't had time to follow up on everyones diaries for the last few days - been so busy at work and full of good intentions of posting my journal post hen catching up..... Sigh... Please accept abject apologies.

What else?? Emailed Mr X last week, got a lovely reply within the hour, replied to him a day later and now no reply from him for nearly a week..oh well...Can't help thinking even if he was busy, he would have replied if he wanted to. Think I might just leave well alone for a month or two.

Ah, it's okay. Sometimes life happens and there's just no time for sitting at the computer very much. The important thing about being here at the forum is to help keep you on track, so as long as you're keeping on track over there, we can patiently wait for your life to slow down a little. :)

*hugs* I'm sorry to say this, but usually if a man is interested, he will make time even if he's really busy. And if a guy doesn't pursue you like you're the wonderful, beautiful, irresistible woman that you are, he's not worth your time. I hope you'll only provide your own precious time and attention to the one who makes you feel that special to him. :) And you never know, if you do leave him alone, he might start to notice your absence and realize, "Ah, she was really great to have around. Why haven't I heard from her?" and shape up. So I think backing away some is a good idea. :)

Hey Jay

I finnally finished reading your diary...Wow you are one amazing women congrats on all that you have achieved so far, I am certain you will reach your goals!!! Your diary is very inspirational and I will keep reading it!!! Keep it up!

He might have just not noticed the email, or read it in a hurry and thought I'll reply later, then completely forgotten coz it shows up as read not unread and now he thinks you're the one not talking to him? Yeah I'm talking from experience here :p
You never know, give it another couple of days/weeks and send a completely unrelated email like you weren't even expecting a reply to the other, it could be he didn't realise you were expecting a reply.
And by the way, you look amazing in that picture!

I just had to say, I read your diary and it is very inspring!! Thank you for taking the time to write it and congradulations!

Thank you for all your lovely words guys. Really means a lot.

I'm such a "honey, he's JUST NOT THAT INTERESTED" kind of girl as well!!! First thing I would say to a friend in them circumstances. However.....heheh....the facts:
a) he took 3 hours out of a busy day to come all the way into the city to meet and talk to me and then go back again
b) he's willing to do this again if I want to talk more
c) he's offered to come all the way over to ANOTHER city where I work to talk at a seminar which really would make me look good
d) he's given me an open invitation to call him (about work...or other stuff...) anytime
e) his usual pattern is that he replies to my emails or calls me back the moment he sits back down at his desk and sees it - so no usual lack of attention!

I can't remember when he said he was off on holiday either...so that might be it LOL
However, i showed the email chain to one of my close friends (who is so logical and pragmatic that I wonder if she isn't really a man) and she said that she thought the last email I sent was a conversation ender i.e. she wouldn't have responded to it - no need to. Whereas I'm a "send a witty little one liner just to keep things going" kind of emailer.

Jeepers, I'm IMPRESSED with your stamina and staying power to have read through all 23 pages of this drivel!! Thank you for your post! I'm slowly working my way through everyone elses diaries here too

He might have just not noticed the email, or read it in a hurry and thought I'll reply later, then completely forgotten coz it shows up as read not unread and now he thinks you're the one not talking to him? Yeah I'm talking from experience here :p

Aww redpiggy thank you for the advice - I will be getting in touch with him but will probably leave it until after my holiday or email just before and then when he replies he'll get my out of office reply!! And thank you for the compliment - I felt great in those new clothes but its lovely to have it reinforced by all of you guys too!

I just had to say, I read your diary and it is very inspring!! Thank you for taking the time to write it and congradulations!
Lovely to see you here AnaNoel and I'm really glad you found it inspiring - still can't believe that I could possibly have that affect on anyone else - I think I'm far too pathetic and weak willed to be an inspiration but what the hey, its a lovely thought :D

And finally, Val - would love to meet up some day...maybe we'll go for a run!! If I'm ever in Majorca!!

Right, I'm off for a soak in the bath and then will come and post galore and catch up with journals as I drip dry!!

Yeah, I'm one of those types of emailers too and it can be frustrating when someone doesn't reciprocate and you're actually expecting a response. Because I've realized that I do that and people do not reciprocate, I've tried working on including a question in the email so that they'll basically be forced to respond. :D Haha, it's terrible and a little sneaky of me.

Well, I really hope that you hear from him soon. Even though this is supposed to be about weight loss, keep us updated about him. :D :D :D

I love coming here to read the next episode of your soap opera life!

Oh, and the weight loss/exercise stuff is good too! :coolgleamA:
