well, get a good bench that goes from fully flat, to a good steep incline. Like 70 degrees.
Expect to pay $200 for a good bench that won't break or have cheap welding.
a decent fitness store will help you select good pound ranges for dumbbells. you might wanna look for ones that are adjustable, and let you add more plates. usually cheaper than buying all the individual equivalents, and takes up less space. they also make PowerBlocks, which are a cool little stacking, magentic weight system. spendy but cool. they come in a few flavors..like a standard, standard with extra weights, and then a pro series that can go heavier, and uses smaller increments in the weight. they are several hundred dollars, but if you figure $10-$20 per dumbbell for individual sizes, it quickly almost evens out.
