No loss this week thanks to my high sodium day yesterday.

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)
Current Weight: 139 lb
Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL Oct 19th*
Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th *MADE MINI GOAL Nov 9th*
Mini Goal: 145 lb By Dec 7th *Didn't make it* New Date: March 1 *MADE MINI GOAL Feb 22nd*
Mini Goal: 140 lb By April 5th *Didn't make it* *MADE MINI GOAL APRIL 19th*
New Mini Goal: 135 lb by July 12th
Final Goal: 128lb

Positive note first, I suddenly noticed I now have the most awesome collar bones!!! Wow, just noticed them yesterday!

On a sad note, we laid my old retired mare, Markie, to rest this morning. She went really peacefully and is no longer in any pain. I am pretty much taking today off eating well, or worrying about what I eat today. Gonna try to stick with 1800 calories saturday and sunday. Then be more strict next week.
 
I think that's perfectly fine. By the same note, you don't actually have to pig out if you don't want to either.

Thank you. Probably gonna end up around 3000 calories today, unless I can keep from eating anything after dinner. Gonna try as I really won't need it.
 
So I didn't realize something. I had 'added' 300 calories onto my day today, like I do Mondays to Thursdays so I eat 1500 calories those days rather than 1800 cals (then I delete them from my diary at the end of the day so it shows what I truly ate. I hadn't realized I had those on there when I said I would finish around 3000 calories. I also will not be eating my last snack of the day I had planned, so I will actually finish up at about 2450 calories which is much better!! Still gonna try to stay to 1800 calories Saturday and Sunday.
Did Day 15 of 30 Day Shred!!! Halfway point!!! Wahoo!!! No breaks today and got a really good sweat on.
 
Oh a good mistake! I rarely make those... mine usually go the wrong way for me. :)

Just finished off day 16 of 30 Day Shred (started it at 9pm which is VERY strange for me to exercise so late, but I didn't feel like doing it before and I had to do it today so too bad so sad for me I had to do it now). Level 2, Day 6. Sweat like a pig today. Phew!! It was hard work, and of course I did it after eating so got a side stitch during the middle cardio.
Ate about 1885 calorie wise today. Which means I could eat about 2100 cals tomorrow but gonna try to keep it to around 1800 again.
Spent the day out in the sun. First I had a lovely ride on my horse early this morning. Love riding with the geese.

(hopefully it's not too big)
Then spent the afternoon taking pictures at a horse show. Hoping to have some people purchase pics to earn some extra money.
 
Spent all day out in the sun today, and man oh man, heat exhaustion!! It was 25 decrees Celsius with no wind. Got to the horse show at 9:45 this morning and stayed till 3 (with about half an hour of that in shade), then went to the barn and gave my horse a good ride (outside). Got back home at 5:30 and spent all evening till about 9:30 editing and posting those pictures from the show, before finally being able to exercise (not that the pics NEEDED to be done before I worked out, or even today but once you get rolling you kinda wanna get it done). I HATE working out late but I am just really proud of myself for being able to get up, off the couch, and doing it!! Normally, if I sit down, that's it, I don't do anything. These challenges really work for me, especially with a 25 min workout video I can do in my own house (rather than a 60 min video, or having to go to the gym, even though the gym is in my condo building).
Ate about 1820 calories or so and I am happy with that.
 
Well done on the late workout and making it beyond the halfway shred point.

I hear ya on the tendency to obey Newton's first law of motion. (An object at rest (me) tends to stay at rest.)

Day 18 of 30 Day Shred. Only 2 more days left of level 2!!! Slowly slowly inching my way to the end!! Got it done at a decent time today and no side stitches even though I worked out right after my restaurant meal (my brother's last day in town) Stayed within my 1500 calories.
 
LONG day at work today. Phew. So I didn't get out to ride my horse. I did get day 19 of 30 Day Shred done. Ate 1500 calories.
BTW, TOM is upon us. No wonder my weight is way up there.

You already on day 19 of 30 day shred? That's awesome! I did day 1 and 2 and got off track. Oh darn TOM - he should be banned! :)

ToM - that's the reason I am doing the juice fast now - because tom has the "great" habit of ruining my whole month of weight-loss in a week! Lol.
 
Finished level 2!!!!! 20 days straight!!! Only 10 more horrid days to go till I finish my challenge and can have a rest day!! Will be interested to see what level 3 is all about.
Groomed 8 dogs today, then went to the barn and gave my horse a super light ride. He had his vaccinations done yesterday and they often feel lethargic and stiff the day after and boy did he. Which was really too bad cause I really wanted to give him a good ride today! I'm running out of time to prepare for my shows coming up in like a month!!!!
Got a Fit Bit. Will be interesting to see what kind of calorie burn and number of steps I get in a day.
 
Thanks. My weigh ins have been going horribly. I'm hoping it's just TOM but I have to 'lose' 1.5 pounds on the scale from this morning's weigh in till tomorrow's weigh in to show any real loss at all (and that's only a 0.5 pound loss)

Day 20 of 30 Day Shred Measurements.
Happy for some loss off the waist measurement but upset that nothing below that changed at all. Only 2.25" lost in total. Better than gaining or staying the same but not a heck of a lot of progress considering how hard I'm working!!

I would think that you are building muscles and retaining water with so much work. The zeros are likely a gain of muscle equaling the loss of fat. I've gained weight and lost no inches from my waist since I've started lifting. It's water retention and I don't have the other tendency to retain water that you're dealing with. You're doing the work and the rewards will come. Keep it up!
