Burlesque Babe

So I decided to get up some gusto and do this dance video workout (I WANT her body so bad. I would die to look like that... and be able to dance like that)

Phew, I was sweatin.
 
She does look hot. Maybe my next life...lol...I could look like her - not in this one.
Did you do all the 44 mins? It looks really exhausting!! I hope the scale is nice to you - you deserve it!
 
Thanks. I did do the whole thing. It actually didn't seem like it took so long. It was fun and they did 3 different dance styles which broke it up as well.
Went and saw my old mare who is being euthanized on Friday. Took some pictures. Here's a few

When I was trying to figure out what to wear for the photos I looked through my closet and found an old pair of jeans I used to wear in high school. They were HUGE on me!! Haha. I did have a point in time when I was lighter in school and when I was at my parents house this afternoon I tried some stuff on. Only one skirt (a size 5) did no fit, but a pair of size 5 shorts did fit.. It's great to be the same size as I was in high school. Now I have to get fitter than that!

Btw, gonna finish up at about 2000 calories which I am happy with.

Aw, sweet pics.

Going through the old clothes helped me a bunch for a while. But now I'm at a size I haven't been in 14 years so I don't have any of those sized clothes left. I think there may be an Operation Ivy t-shirt up in Wisconsin somewhere that would fit me...

Hopefully soon even your old clothes won't fit and you'll have to get brand new.

Today ended up not being as good as I hoped. My friend had texted me earlier asking if his friends were available for a wine and cheese party cause he was thinking if organizing one for tonight if people were interested. I never heard back from him so I assumed it wasn't happening and ate the calories I wanted. Then at 9:50pm my friends text me and ask me why I wasn't at the party. Apparently I accidentally hadn't been on the mass text list. I went there with the plan of not having anything. I ended up having a lot of cheese and a pop, probably amounting to a good 600-700 calories! (And LOADS of sodium) Whoops. Oh well, one day won't hurt me. Gonna try to only eat 1800 tomorrow to keep things in check. Should be a busier day which makes things easier but I will be at a horse show and I love their food (not planning to have any though)

Did Measurements as today is day 10 of 30 Day Shred. Plan to do them on day 20 and day 30. A bit disappointed with the measurements, but I think I am starting to see some improvements (but clearly they don't match my measurements.
 
So finished up at 1916 calories, which according to My Fitness Pal says that I am still under my weekly calories (though it adds in my exercise cals, which I don't count towards my goal). If it didn't add in those cals I would be about a 200 calories over for the week which isn't a huge heart ache to me. I do want to be better next week during the week and not have any over days monday to thursday so I can stay nicely within my weekly goal.

Today was 10 days straight of level 1 of 30 Day Shred! Tomorrow I move on to level 2. A little worried about how hard I'm gonna have to work at it but I will get it done and it will be a nice change from doing the same things I did in level 1 for 10 days.

Finished within my 1500 calories today. It was snowing here today so didn't go to the barn (which was very bad, since he had a lighter week last week) Gotta try to ride him at least 5 times (6 would be better) this week. Been drinking far too much water cause I have to rush to the bathroom every 20 mins! Did my 11th straight day of 30 Day Shred. Moved up to Level 2 and it's gonna be tough!!! My elbows hurt from doing so many pushups these last 11 days. Hoping that subsides.

Hopefully the snow you had yesterday is already gone and that will be it for the year. Seems like spring is taking longer than usual to arrive this year.

Good luck with the time on level 2, my wife has a couple of the Jillian DVDs and they look brutally hard in places
 
Good work sticking to the challenging exercise program.

I think the soreness will probably get better, but it might still linger just a touch for the rest of the day. Though you're young so that should help a bunch.

Was so looking forward to the food I had planned for this evening but a friend of mine is going out of town for 2 weeks and really wanted to go out for supper, and to some place really high in calories. If my guesstimate is right I finished up at about 1850 for today. Not horrible but I will need to be more careful on the weekend than usual. Did my 12th straight day of 30 Day Shred. Level 2, Day 2. Much easier than yesterday. My butt was stiff from yesterday's workout, but I had less breaks today than yesterday and felt less like I would die.
Rode my horse and he was great.

Whoops, just rechecked my cals and I finished up at 1760. Sweet.

Mystic sorry to hear about Markie. I actually swallowed a bit hard there when I read she's ill. I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE animal lover and it always saddens me to hear things like this. But as you said it's better for her. My heart goes out to you. The pix are absolutely stunning!! Those are really good memories to have forever.

Well done on doing so well in keeping within your calories and the 30 shred. You are really doing fantastic!
 
You are doing great with the water!! When you drink a lot it tricks you into actually gaining weight - yet the opposite is usually true - it helps you lose !!

Did great on calories today. Under 1500 cals. Also did my 13th straight day 30 Day Shred. Felt pretty good doing it. Less breaks, able to work a bit harder, no joint pain or side stitches.
 
13 days straight of listening to Jillian yell at you is quite the accomplishment. Sounds like you're already adjusting to level 2 and in a week you'll be looking back at level 2 as the easy days :)

Day 14 of 30 Day Shred, Level 2 Day 4. Made it all the way through with no breaks! Only one more day will halfway!
Finished up around 1312 calories today!!! Don't mind a slightly low day since I have had a few higher days I didn't want. Slightly over on my sodium and most of it came in the evening so I am worried how it will affect my weigh in tomorrow. Gonna try to drink a good bit of water yet tonight.
We are euthanizing my mare tomorrow morning, then I think I will go ride my horse then go take some pictures at the horse show going on, or possibly I might feel so depressed I just do nothing, we'll see.
