Burlesque Babe

So I nibbled on some peanut butter/nacho chips/whoppers, for about 300 calories. Whoops. So I ended up about 73 cals or so over my weekly goal. It's been 7 weeks since I was over my weekly calorie goal.
Gotta do pics and measurements tomorrow morning to see if there's been any results from my 30 Day Shred workout.

Baaaad eating day today haha. Since its a long weekend today I didn't have a normal workday. I did do a lot of walking around as I went to the zoo and I did ride but ate about 2900 cals. Gonna have to be really careful this next week to stay in my cals!!
Took pics of my 30 day shred progress and finally saw some results. Will post them.

It's weird when you see changes, but the measurements really don't show changes.

Wow, Mystic! You can definitely see the improvement in definition in your back and obliques. I think it's visible in your arms and shoulders as well, but you don't have a before pose showing your biceps, so it's hard to tell. You definitely look strong in those areas, I just don't know if you've always had arms like that. :)

Great job!

It's as much definition as it is about size, particularly for women. It looks like you've toned up pretty significantly around the midsection (you've had those killer biceps for a while IIRC). Certainly on a long term basis you've done fabulous work. When I signed up here (October) I think you were over 150 and that's a lot of progress since then, around 10% loss of body weight.

Congrats on all the progress.

Thanks guys. I'm just so shocked at how much more it's gonna take to get a semi flat stomach, sigh.
Today I ate 1391 cals. Trying to stay under 1400 tuesday to friday of this week to make up for a bit of a splurge yesterday) Bought some new groceries today. Got carrots and dip, hummus and pita, sweet potato fries, and some other things. Always trying to find new snacks that are low cal and yummy.
Rode my horse today, but so enjoying not doing a workout video! However that ends tomorrow. Starting Ripped in 30, and gonna do it 5 days a week. Gonna have to do it 5 days straight this week due to how it worked out with taking 2 rest days after 30 day shred, but after that I will split up the rest days so I only have to do it 2-3 days straight.

Had a good day today. Finished up 1438 on my cals. I was gonna be at 1408, but I thought I had allotted myself 4 TBSP of dip when I really had only allowed myself 3. Didn't realize it on time. Whoops. Oh well, can't uneat it haha.
Started Ripped in 30 today. It was much easier than 30 Day Shred so far!!! Still got a good sweat on though. It was so nasty outside I didn't get to the barn, gotta go at least 4 more times this week to keep him on a good schedule to keep building his muscling and stamina.

Just looking at my ticker and my BMI has dropped from 28.8 to 23.7! Wahoo. That's a good drop!
Finished up my cals somewhere around 1400. I don't know exact has I had leftovers from a restaurant meal for supper and that restaurant does not have nutritional info available, but I don't think it could have been any more than 1500 cals in total, but I think closer to 1400.
Been drinking plenty of water to try to get rid of the water weight from the weekend, but I am not gonna be shocked at all if I post a gain on the scales tomorrow. I was still up by around 1.5 pounds on the scale this morning and I would be a bit surprised if I got it down for tomorrow's weigh in. Not gonna be upset about it though as I know it's just water weight.
Finished day 2 of Ripped in 30. Was surprised how stiff I was today from yesterday's workout since it didn't feel like I was getting an amazing muscle workout, but obviously got a decent workout. Mainly thighs and bum, a bit of arms/shoulder.

Couldn't make it down all the way from my water weight gain from the weekend, plus fluid retention in my muscles from my new workout. Oh well, not a surprise and I'm not bothered by it. Still 30 pounds down!

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)

That is awesome, Mystic! Great job!

Up or not (0.2 lbs is nothing, by the way) 30 lbs lost for someone so close to her target weight is very impressive in the time you've done it.

Thank you. Finished Up my calories at about 1800 calories. More than I was intending but I don't really care. I ended up going to get a donair after work due to the fact that I ended up finishing off work really late and wanted to eat before 7 PM When I got home from the barn. I will be over calories this week but I'm not really upset about that. I ate really well during the week and I'm just going to survive this weekend and have a clean slate starting Monday. Going to try to keep it around 1800 cal Saturday and Sunday so that I don't go too far over but I can have a little bit more freedom than trying to stay under my weekly goal. With the busy day that I had with ending work late and then having to go ride my horse yet and then in the late evening going to see a movie I did not get my workout in today. Will do it Saturday and Sunday.

Just popped in to say that may scale said today what I should have said yesterday. It said 137.2 which means I would have lost over half a pound last week which is awesome! Too bad I can't count it since it's Saturday and not Friday.

Had a pretty good day today. Had a decent calorie burn (according to my fitbit) for a non workday, about 2100 cals. Had a good lesson on my horse, did my Ripped in 30 workout. Ate under 1800 cals, and when I went to a get together (after I had eaten my cals for the day) and they had chips and pop I didn't have anything!! I will be over my weekly cals due to Monday but I have done great the rest of the week so I really don't care!

Thank you.
Stepped on the scale this morning and it was even kinder today than it was yesterday! I just wished my body shape more reflected how close I am to my scale goal. Hoping to hold onto this weightloss till official weigh in day.
