Thanks. I still have a stuffy nose and a sore throat. I don't feel 'awful' just unwell. Got to have a bit of extra sleep last night and it's just about the weekend so hopefully I can get this to go away in not too long.

GOOD weigh in today!!! Finally! I was only expecting to be around 147.2 as that's what I had been the last couple days when I weighed. But I stepped on the scale this morning and it was 146.4!!!! Both my fists shot straight into the air seeing that number! I am FINALLY lower than I was before Christmas!!!

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)
Current Weight: 146.4lb
Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL Oct 19th*
Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th *MADE MINI GOAL Nov 9th*
New Mini Goal: 145 By Dec 7th *Didn't make it* New Date: March 1
Final Goal: 128lb

Even though it was a good loss, I think that I will sorta implement the plan I talked about earlier. I think that I will try to do 3 days a week of 1500 if I don't work out. I'm gonna choose a new date for my Mini Goal of 145 since it's not been changed since I didn't make it. I will now put it for March 1st. That's 3 weeks for 1.4 pounds. SHOULD be able to make that!
 
Thanks. I am still debating on whether or not I do 1500 calories some days or not. I just calculated and in the last 4 weeks I have averaged 1.3 pounds a week, which for someone that's nearly in the 'healthy/ideal' range, is pretty good. I may try to do 2 days a week if I don't exercise. Still thinking about it. Or maybe a couple 1500 days if I have a day I go over calories or something. Hmm...
 
Stayed under my 1800 calories. Going to watch a small Spruce Meadows horse show tomorrow and sunday. That'll be tough. It's gonna be long days there and I quite like the food they have there, but do you know what? If I don't eat anything beforehand I have 1800 calories and I think I can stay in my calories even with eating that food. Gonna try to do some calculations on what I would likely have to see if I can though.
 
Wow, just did some quick calculations. Just having one "Breakfast bun" (Like an Egg McMuffin), and a hotdog and fries and I'm up to 1460 calories. That's not a lot of food for 1460 calories!! I can make 2 breakfast bun type things for 240 cals, as apposed to the 590 calories I estimated their's too be and that doesn't include the mayo which really makes the sandwich. Then a hotdog with bun, fries and ketchup for another 870 calories. Hmm... still leaves me with over 300 calories left for the day, so when I get home if I'm hungry I could still have a bit more. Will have to think about this.
 
I agree that 1.3 pounds is great for someone with so little to lose. Have fun at the show and just track what you eat. You can always make up for an overage on a later day.

He was a little neglected, but looked healthy. He was rather friendly, but he did not like the idea of my cutting the mat out of his mane. He followed me around after I pet him and would nudge me and lip nibble at my shirt snaps. He stomped and whinnyed when I got in the truck to leave. The donkeys in the background were quite bashful.
 
Great job on the weight loss - you will reach your goal in no time!! I like your idea of 3 days 1500 cal.

Thigh: 24.25" (-0.5)
Calf: 14.5" (-0.75)

A total of 3.5" lost. Not too bad. Want the abdomen and thigh measurements to move quicker.
 
Congrats on the excellent progress MR! Nice drop on the waist measurement as well. You're working really hard at this, so it's good to see the positive results.

You'll be in swimsuit shape by summer. Do they have swimsuits up in Canada, or just light parkas? :)
 
I like the way you are thinking through your food choices...thats how you navigate through all those places that used to trip up your weight loss

Thanks guys. So I didn't do as well as I hoped. Ate to about maintenance, which I don't think is terrible every now and again however I will be back at the show tomorrow and I can't eat like this 2 days in one week. So I have to be really thoughtful tomorrow. I'd like to bring food but I don't have access to a fridge or microwave and I think it's actually too warm to leave it in my vehicle. I still think I will try to find a way to bring food.
 
Oops. So after the horse show I went to a friends house and had pistachios and popcorn so ended up about 300 calories over maintanance. Gonna try for two 1500 calorie days to make up for it!
 
Hey Mystic - no worries on a couple days of bit of calorie up- think of it as metabolism boost days ! ....lol

Thanks! Still trying to figure out what I will bring for food with me to the show today. I have some roasted chicken leftover from the other day so I think I will bring that, but I need to bring a bit more. I think I could probably eat one meal there and fit it in nice but not all 3 like yesterday.
Still have this stupid cold. My nose is so stuffy/runny and I have so much phlegm at the back of my throat that I can't get out! Gross!
 
Hey Mystic - for an easy "pack it" meal - I usually take 1 serving nuts , some cheese, some whole-wheat crackers, and a piece of fruit- ... has fibre , protein, keeps ya going a long time...

Thanks for the ideas, though I didn't see them in time. I did bring my chicken but I just had cravings for fries and chocolate. If I can eat the way I planned for the rest of the day I will be 150 cals over 1800 for the day which I an ok enough with. Then I will eat 1500 on mon tues wed and thurs to make up for yesterday and today

Whoops. So ended up eating to about maintenance. Still gonna stick to my 1500 calorie plan for the next week, and if I can get my butt to the gym, all the better.
