Burlesque Babe

Such a terrible day today. Ended up sleeping for 12 hours last night! Which meant I didn't wake up till 2pm in the afternoon, when I sleep so long I feel gross and not like doing anything. I am eating within my calories but didn't do anything for the day and now I feel extra gross cause of it.

Hey you must have been really tired, your body needed to catch up on some sleep.
Don't beat yourself up about it! :hug2:

Thanks.
So I was thinking that cinnamon did not have any calories, don't know why, it just seemed like it wouldn't. I have a fair amount of cinnamon a day, and just discovered it has 17 calories per tbsp. No a lot but I probably have 4-10 tbsp's a day. Which is an additional 68- 170 calories a day. Gonna have to start tracking that.

Whoa! That's levels of cinnamon. Don't try that at home by the way, good way to make a mess and yourself sick. It's even slightly dangerous.

Haha, ya won't be doing that any time soon. But I have cinnamon splenda mix for both my french toast, and I dip (plunge...) my apples into the same mix as well.
Doing well enough today. I really wanted to get off track with chocolate today. I buy these mini Kinder bars that are 71 calories each so 2 is a nice snack, and I can have a bit of a treat. They come in a box of 16 though, so you have to make sure you can stop. I was able to fit in 6 into my day and still have plenty of calories for the rest of the evening. As long as I can stick in my calories!

Wow, that was a struggle to finish in my calories!! I had bad cravings for chocolate all afternoon, and really wanted to tell myself it was ok to go over one day. However b/c I have not gotten my butt up to exercise (still crazy tired, woke up feeling horrid and sick! Though I feel fairly normal now) and I am eating higher calories than I used to eat, I have less leeway. Last week I had one oops day but on my graph/totals I was actually over the calorie allowance for the week by a few hundred calories. So I was able to keep myself from going over! Yay! I really want to get back to the gym. I don't know why I have been so tired but I really got to fight it and get myself back into the routine!

Don't do it - don't reach for the chocolate! You will regret it later! Rather grab sugar free gum. Thats what I do when my sugar craving creeps in.

Tiredness? I know all about it. I'm also still on that tired train and it's irritating the crap outta me. Just can't seem to shake it off.

At least we are still dropping weight - yeah for that!

I had bad cravings for chocolate all afternoon

Ok just substitute "french fries" for the word "chocolate" and you have my usual situation.

Glad to see your progress! You are well on the way to skinny!

You might have the winter blues? It's cold & spring seems far.
We all get it at some point.

I hope you get yourself down to the gym soon!

Thanks guys. Had a decent day today calorie wise. I was 6 calories over goal. Only got home at 6:30 and it just seems too horrid to make it to the gym yet when I haven't eaten supper or had a chance to relax all day. Plus with my tiredness, it's too overwhelming. Though I think if I could just get myself into the routine I wouldn't feel this way. Grr. I am gonna see what my weight loss is this week. If it really isn't anything then I think I will change up my calories again. I think I would switch it to 1500 cals on days I don't work out and 1800 calories on days I do work out. Encourages me to work out a bit more, while dropping my cals even if I don't work out so hopefully the weight will come off better. But I will wait for this weigh in to see what it looks like.

Thanks you guys! Finished right on my calorie count today. Stepped on the scale this morning and it's not looking good for losing a pound by friday if it keeps going this way.
Napped for an hour at 9pm, and my throat is starting to get sore so it looks like I'm getting sick again. Sigh.

Just take it day by day. Nice job on finishing in your calorie count. Let's make it another day on target. Hope you not getting sick.

Hey Mystic - more food on exercise days sounds like a good motivation plan to me gal.

... & are U getting enuf protein??
-& maybe the kinder-choc's - despite being in your calorie count - high-sugar carbs usually give a quick-energy up...but then also a big energy down after...they might be "sapping" your energy overall....

hang in Mystic - only few weeks winter left...then that spring sunshine will energize us all......

Thanks guys.
Maryanne>> Surprisingly I am doing pretty good on protein, which surprises me as I am a carb person! But my slow cooker and yogurt love helps. I don't tend to have a lot of chocolate and if I do it's generally in the evenings and I usually get tired before I even get home.
Definitely sick. It's not awful, but the throat is sore and I am not feeling too hot.
Today I decided to stick to 1500 calories, just to ensure I am nicely under my calorie goal for the week. I think most likely I will move to the 1500 on non exercise/1800 on exercise days as I can't see me losing the pound (or more) I would like to lose a week.
