Bulking with cardio

Basically...when bulking, is it possible just to do loads of cardio so you don't put on any fat, just muscle? Or will the increased cardio slow down muscle growth?

Thanks.

I would think that the excess cardio would use up some of the calories your body would need to grow. Most pro bodybuilders cycle it off and on with no cardio when bulking.

increased cardio will hurt your bulking cause. if you are bulking, you will inevitably gain some fat. i would recommend HIIT to minimize it.

IMO, its an indiviual thing. i've seen guys do absolutely no cardio while bulking and still remain lean. also seen those who implement some cardio and still gain.

also you have to determine what will be best for you: low intensity or high intensity. guys with extreme metabolism will likely find HIIT to much for them as it will increase and already increased metabolic rate. on the other hand, those who are not too active (desk job, student, etc) find that HIIT suits them fine. ;)

definitely do minimal cardio like 15 mins of your choice or do some hiit

Gomez hit it right on the head. 15 minutes after a training session; or on off days will serve as plenty; it will keep you waist line in check and give your heart a little extra work.

Just don't neglect cardio for ever.
