Bulking and Workout questions

hello,

Hello so i have been weight training for about 6 weeks now and i am total begineer so i know that for the first 6 or so weeks my body fat will be turned into muscle. And i am seeing this happening, because i look stronger but now i think its time i choose to either Bulk or cut. I weight 157 lbs, 5 ft 10, and i think around 18-19% body fat.

I am thinking of bulking for about 1 month. so about 4 lbs, but i might do it for 2 months. Depends on when my lacrosse season will start because it is hard to get in the gym while the season progresses. As for my diet, I have been eatin pretty healthy, getting around 2100 calories a day and i think i need to bump that up to 2600 calories.

Where is there a site where i can find my calorie consumption?

And i have a workout question also:
My question is that when i bulk say 10 lbs will my body size change? Like will my chest grow bigger then it is? Or will I look the same?

I do 5x5 of Mon, and Fri. and pyramids on wednesdays. I am thinking of stopping the pyramids and I neeed a new set/rep scheme. I want Strength mainly but a little mass doesnt hurt. What is another scheme I can do? I was thinking 10X3 or 7x3 or something in the lines of that.

ANy suggestions?
It would be helpful, if someone could help me out on this stuff. THANKS

as long as your making gains then stick with what you are doing.
change your routine when you reach a plateu.
if you gain 10lbs of muscle your body composition will change depending on where you put on the muscle ..ie ..if your shoulders and chest grow and your waist gets smaller then you are going to look more v shaped.

Well i have made gains for 6 weeks, but i think i hit a plateau or soon going to hit one. And anyways i think its time i do a Bulk session. It would be good for me because lacrosse is comming up and i am relatively small.

Will bulking up 10 lbs make me slower runner? I dont think so but just wondering.

Also will my body fat % go up?

i dont think it will make you slower, maybe even faster as you are gaining muscle ie more power look at sprinters.
your bodyfat should go up slightly because you are eating above maintanance if you are putting on to much fat then cut down a bit.

just gotta clear something up. fat doesnt turn into muscle, you loose fat and add muscle (its possible when you are a beginner).

alright thanks guys,

I have another questions,
THis week i will only be able to go to the Weight room only 2 days not the usual 3. So i am on a bulk diet right now, and My last workout was on Friday last week. I start my bulk today (mon), but i am not going to to the weight room so do i eat a bulk diet no matter what everyday? or do i do something differnt?

ill read the article. thanks

as for youre suggestion, i cant really do that. Because lacrosse season starts soon and i need to be faster and better athlete. I dont care how i look yet until after lacrosse season. It starts in about 2 months. which gives me 2 months of a bulk.
