Ok, well I'm bulking right now, I just started bulking again a week ago. Anyway, I have a question. In the past I've always been able to put up more weight on bench press when I stuck to a base of 10 reps. But for bulking you're supposed to stick to more weight and less reps. It seems like it's not beneficial to do this at least on bench because I'll stop between 5-8 reps and it seems like my muscles aren't worked up enough so that I actually gain strength. Should I just stick to 10 reps on benching, will it really affect my bulking all that much since I do other exercises that involve all of the muscles used for bench?
