Hi all. I guess i will start with the questions
-- How much weight do you want to lose?
Right now I weight 150 lbs., and I want to lose 25 pounds.
-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?
I want to lose the weight in three months
-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? I'm going to work out (cardio and weight training) and of course watching what i eat.
-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
I am hoping that everyone on this forum can help keep me accountable to my goals and help me when i have 'bad' days.
-- How realistic is your goal?
I think it is realistic.
-- When will you start?
I've kinda already started. I work out several days a week already, and I have lost and maintained a 15 lbs weight loss (from last year)
I think I am going to stick with my current cardio plan. I have a 10 minute warm up on the bike, then 15-25 minutes on the stepper and then 20-35 minutes on the elliptical machine- total time not more than 1 hour.
Currently I am not really doing any weights. I used to do them all the time, but I have just gotten really lazy lately. I know i need to work on re-building my leg muscles because they have completely weaked so that is going to be a huge priority for me. Also I would like to tone my arms/shoulders/back. And of course my abs, which are totally non-existent right now!
Foodwise I am planning on eating lots of fruit and veggies. Less junk food. Goal is to have about 1200-1500 calories a day.
I'm not going to post any pictures. my mom is paranoid about on line stalkers and she has kinda passed that paranoia down to me.
Oh and I'm 18, about 5'8''. I live in Canada and I'm going into university in the fall.
Help me stick to my goals!
