So I am new to this forum thing but not new to weight loss attempts... So here it goes... I am a 20 year old mother of a beautiful 2 year old daughter and a wife to my wonderful husband for almost 2 years.. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember... In high school I was a cheerleader, and these were the best years of my life as far as my body image and weight... I was about 180 lbs (I will get pictures soon I swear!) ... by graduation, I hadn't cheered for a year and a half and I was up to about 230 maybe, wearing a size 18/20... here we are a few years later and I was 303 lbs wearing size 24 at the beginning of 2007... I have started diets and exercise.. its just never stuck. This time is different.. I did really well at the beginning of January, I was down to 282 lbs, then i got strep throat and thought it was a good excuse to eat ice cream.. well ice cream led to sweets which led to pretty much anything I wanted... although I ate anything and everything and did next to nothing for physical activity for 2 months, I only gained 5 lbs back of what I lost, so I tried again.. and here we are. I am currently at 276 lbs and I am feeling pretty good. I go to the gym about every other day and walk more now when I can. I am looking at the long term here... New Years 2008, I will be at 200 lbs. I know I can do it and I know I will! I am so excited to discover my sexy body underneath the one I have now. Yay!
