Hey people!

This is the begining...

I'm 120kg/265lb at the moment. My target weight is 95kg/210lb.

I've been off to the doc and she says I'm reasonably fit for the weight I'm carrying but life would be a lot better if I wasn't carrying extra weight...

So this morning I went and joined my local gym. I'm hoping getting active will help :)

The hardest thing will be regulating my meals... as it is I haven't eaten yet today. This happens most days... And from what I've read this won't be doing my metabolism any good. So hopefully better eating habits and regular exercise will lead to a better me :)

Today:

didn't eat until 4:30 this arvo.. had a beef and salad roll and a choc milk...

I've had about a litre and a half of water today

And I've done about 30mins of walking

It's now nearly midnight

Not a good start...
 
Ok...

I think I've been doing well :)

Been keeping my calories down to around 2500, my water intake up to at least 2L a day and getting down to the gym for a couple of hours each day...

When I weighed myself this morning I've dropped 2kg :eek: in all of a couple of days... I'm assuming this trend won't continue and the weight will start to come off more slowly. But that little 'boost' has upped my motivation a lot. I'm definitely on a mission :D
 
Ok... Haven't been here in a while...

But I have been keeping up my efforts... My weight now is hovering about the 116 mark :) and all I've got to do is eat right and exercise :) The main thing this time around has been my motivation. I'm claiming my life back! So I can do a lot of things I've never had the opportunity to do before (like skydiving, etc...)

Anyways... Hope everyone else out there is having success :D
