Breast Changes

Ok, I know that you can't increase your breast size by working out. However, my hubby swears that they are firmer (and it's not a huge change, but enough that he can tell a difference). I have noticed that they seem....well.....bigger in the sense that I can't hold a breast comfortably in my hand, NOT THAT I FEEL MYSELF UP OFTEN.

I have been working my arms/shoulders with weights and have also been doing pushups (just started those, actually, a couple days ago). Could that be doing something up there with my breasts that give the illusion that they are changing?

When a girl goes from a C to an A after having kids, she looks for ANYTHING to make her feel better! LOL :D

I hear you there I had the same issues!! Chest workouts will add muscle and make the appearance of your breasts look better. It adds to the shape but unfortunately not size. But hey any improvement is great. Kepp it up and you'll notice a difference in the appearance :D Especially in the upper portion of the chest which helps all the way around :D

Thanks, Jenn. Just wanted to make sure I was thinking correctly! :D

I hear ya, my best friend had her size increase. I still curse her to this day!!!! Oh well I guess I'll only date guys that are into legs and ass :D And continue buying awesome pushup bras :D That works well, at least while they are on :D LOL

Rock on Jenn, show what you've got. I've got no boobs, but long legs, so I have a nice collection of push up bras and short skirts:D

Anyway, I never take doing chest training too seriously because I thought it would make my chest smaller. But I'll make sure to include it now!

Before I got into training I thought the same thing, but I know much differently know. I'm not the only one that has noticed the changes either.Lifting does wondering for shaping the top and side of the chest, that area by your underarms. So even though you don't gain cup size the way you look change change so much for the better. I hated how I looked after having two kids and breast feeding for one year each did a number on me. Now I don't mind my chest at all, I actually have gone out in public in a bikini. Some thing I haven't done since I was like 16. That was a huge big step for me, but I felt great. Heck I even posted a picture of the bathing suit on here, no push up bra nothing!!! That's a first :D and I still feel good about it so hey, lift and be happy :D I do my chest with dumbells instead of a bar I find it works better for me and flys are awesome to. Incline incline and decline work and make sure you hit your back to. And keep your posture inline, nothing is sexier than a woman that is confident and stands tall shoulders back and relaxed. :D Go get 'em girls :D

I just started working out, but only with hand weights, I don't have a bar or gym I can go to. What are the best exercises for increasing the "appearance" of a larger chest? I'm w/some of you, anything will do at this point, lol......Like I said, all I have is those handweights, oh and an exercise ball! Thanks!

Samantha, you can do some chest presses and some flyes on your stability ball. They can help shape your ummm chest

jpc hit it ... db bench presses, both flat and incline, flys both flat and decline, push ups.. make sure to do rows and pull ups for your back too so that you do not create an imbalance. That will keep your shoulders from rounding in , and stretch strech stretch atfer and on days off :D

thank you for the advice guys! i'm going to have to look up what some of those are, since i'm so new to working out, lol.......and don't worry i stretch before and after, and on my off days.....thanks!

ok i know what all those are, lol......but there is probably no safe way to do any declining ones for me is there? i mean i can't do those on the ball somehow could i?

So what happens if you are already busty? Do "they" just get firmer or appear to be even bigger?

oh i certainly have no clue.....i need to be "bustier", lol:rolleyes: i hope someone comes along soon w/an answer for you.......

i'm not an expert, but i believe they get firmer, smaller as they tighten and turn more into muscle. take a look at a female body builder, they are usually really small and tight, and some get breast implants. i guess it's like if u tighten up overall, so will your breasts. that's just what i think and if i'm wrong, sorry...but i think that's what happens. i try. lol! :D

think of it as a lift not as getting bigger. the only way to decrease your size if you are busty is to lose bf% :D hope that helps :D

Hi y'all! Wow! What a response to my embarrasing question!! LOL

Yup I love my pushup bras!! LOVE THEM! I have water bras - anyone try them?? THEY ARE AWESOME!!! So, I agree, "lift and be happy"!! :D Yeah, still working on being happy with my chest. Thankfully I married an ass man, so all is right with the world. LOL ;)
