I see where the research is coming from... but I wouldn't feel comfortable telling most people to lift twice per day. It has its time and place for those with the education and need... but my gut feeling is that most folks would not do this properly.

Not saying it isn't good... just not my preference :)

I believe you are right on that one. It sounds like a solid plan for the well trained and dedicated. For the general population, it can be like pulling teeth to get them to devote a few minutes to exercise, much less two different times in one day. Although, it sounds like an interesting concept.
 
The point being, the OP, who was effectively doing this anyway, isn't going to screw herself up by doing what she's doing.
