Bread?

Is bread ok to eat regularly if you are trying to lose weight? I eat around 4 slices a day of granary bread, as I have turkey sandwiches for lunch with no butter.

Thanks

It's not the best thing for you, but it's not the worst either. I eat bread and don't have a problem, but if you should eat it or not... that depends :D

If the rest of your menu is clean and healthy, then a bit of bread won't hurt. 4 slices may be a bit much though.

If you're already lean and wanting to cut body fat even more... don't eat bread.

If you have quite a few pounds to lose and the rest of your menu is in check, some bread won't hurt.

White bread is worse than hemp bread. Both are bread, but hemp bread is WAAAYYY better and actually healthy. So the type of bread is important too.

Many will say to avoid bread at all costs. Personally I think it's okay so long as it fits in with your goals.

I don't eat bread at all, only for a cheat meal, however if you do choose to consume bread, I'd choose a multigrain/wheat brand.

Like LV, I kinda feel bread, even multigrain bread, is still very processed, very refined...not as good as, say, oatmeal, or barley, or brown rice.

4 slices is a lot of your carbs for the day, and even multigrain doens't have that much fiber for the total carb amount.
