Hey Brawny hows the exercise going. saw that your son will be taking his drivers test soon. Hopefully he will do well. its so important to them at that age. Im sure you will be proud.

I actually have a lot of respect for Ford as a company given their performance since all their competition lined up for bailout money.

Enough of the rainy day talk it's making me sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...huh? oh yeah, ...py.

Big plans for the weekend?

I am about to launch into spring break. i will be here a bit to post but not a lot....if things go well.

Hope for a good weigh in Sat. i will post more later

Have a great energetic spring break Brawny77!! If you get the chance, walk through a flower garden for me...I really miss that here in the city!

Poppin in real quick....My riding lawn mower broke so my fitness routine has been push mowing....Ever tried to mow 7 acres with a push mower?

Ill be back next week yall

Hey Brawny,

Sounds like you're getting creative on your exerciseing! Thanks for stopping in my diary and giving me the well wishes! I'm feeling better now and hope to get back to exercising tomorrow...then go on a 2 week business trip...sucks, but the way it is.

We'll catch up when I get back! Hope you had a good spring break!

Sarah

7 acres sounds like quite a workout. Time to print up flyers for Brawny and Sons Mowing...

Here's hoping the riding mower soon becomes more than just a redneck lawn ornament!

Riding lawn mower is being repaired. Not a second too soon

Well...I ate my way through spring break

Weigh in Sat was 281

Not so great. I have been sputtering on my eating but I am still exercising. I am gonna have a refocus plan in place very soon.

In the long run what happens during one week doesn't make a big difference, it's the other fifty one we have to worry about.

Let's see your one week goals up here as a first step to the refocus. Give it a week and most of the spring break damage will be long gone...

:iagree: There's always a chance to turn it around. You and I are in the same boat, Brawny. Let's regroup and get back on track!

I'm where you are babe; eating and exercising! In my past experience, as long as I've kept exercising, the eating soon returned to healthy limits. Hope your month is awesome!

Hi friends

Well I actually let my thread slip to the second page...pretty sad. My life has been crazy...something every night and spin in circles at work every day. I have one son playing H.S. baseball and track another in JH track and pony league baseball (I help coach that one) and a daughter in softball. Also we have prom next week and Academic contests (which we will win) and banquet season....Holy Cow.

And meanwhile I have fallen off the diet wagon completely and I am only hanging by a thread on the exercise wagon. I am hoping for a weekend where I can re-group and re-focus. i am out of my healthy groove.

Really great to see you back and hope you can find/make time to get back into that post Christmas groove. If I remember the older posts correctly, I believe you had a doctor's appt coming up fairly soon?

If there's one tip I can offer it would be to spend the time preparing for the upcoming days/week ahead. Every time I find myself without a plan in terms of meals or exercise the results seem to suffer. One day at a time and one foot in front of the other.

Hey brawny,

I agree with Feelinggooder...make a plan and regroup...and don't you quit, don't you quit, don't you quit! I don't have children, so I can't imagine your crazy, time demanding life with them, but, I can tell you that traveling and other time demands probably compares...and you can do it...hard but it's possible. Don't let all these other things take priority over you and your personal health...if you don't have that, all the things that children, wife, etc depend on (you being here) are out the window! So, regroup and know we're here for you and we're cheering you on (all the way from China!)

Sarah

Back on track! (Mostly) Exercised this morning and had a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch. I can at least report 1/2 of a good day.

Now I stumble dazed into an evening of little league and track meets....YIPPEE

Awesome to see that first 1/2 day punched. Sounds like an uber hectic time in brawny land with all the activities for the kids that you're juggling right now.

How's the oldest coming with the driving? Maybe you can get him licensed and turn him into a chauffeur for the other brawnlings...

My oldest takes his driving test April 26...pray for us.

Dodging Tornados down here yesterday. I was in Dallas for meetings. Did yall see that video of the 18 wheeler trailers flying 180 feet in the air?...I was 4 miles from there. Trying to get home. Luckily my town was mostly missed. I was on the phone releasing school early before it hit. We got them all home and the buses back in with 30 minutes to spare.

I have had 2 and a half good days now. I hope to really do well over the long weekend....Yes we still take good Friday off here.

Almost back in the groove

Hey Brawny

Yes, I did see the tornado videos online and thought about you and some friends in Ardmore, OK. Hope all is OK.

Keep up your good choices and exercise and get back into that good "after the new year routine".

Sarah

Good to hear that all the kids and your town were spared. Those videos of the 18 wheelers are wild as they make those trailers all look like toys being thrown in the air...

Heading into a big holiday weekend with promises of ham and turkey myself. Suggest we both make time to get a decent workout in during the weekend to limit the damage done and get right back on track next week.

I have been athinkin...I need a new way to get going again. I have been basically hitting and missing for almost 2 months now. So here it is

The secret diet...Oooooh,,,,Mysterious

Heres what I'm gonna do

1. Go on a rather intensive exercise and diet plan. 1600-1800 cal per day exercise 5 days a week

2. Tell no one. Underplay it

3. Note (log) how long it takes anybody to notice

This will mildly amuse me and get me going again.

Starting tomorrow

Hoping to get some responses within a couple of weeks but might take longer

You guys are sworn to secrecy so...mums the word
