I have a 12 hour work day ahead of me, and they want me to learn how to be a waitress today. I'm trying NOT to say that I'm not looking forward to it.

I went to the gym with Dan today for a half hour. Its all I could fit in and still get ready for work and stuff.

Now I'm off to use the weight bench in the other room for a couple minutes before I head off to work. Salad with no friend chicken on it for lunch/dinner. :D

I'm thinking about starting another challenge for the Christmas season. Tell me if you would stick to it and be interested.

Something lately is making me go gym crazy. I want to go to the gym every day! And I am loving trying out all the machines.

I made it through work yesterday, and I took a final in class this morning. i came home and had an iced coffee with skim milk and 2 sweet and low. And I ate some Beef stirfry with peapods and carrots and onions. No noodles. yummm.

I am letting my food settle for a few minutes when I do some miscellaneous things, and then I'm going to the gym for a little while to work out. Then I'll be going to pick up my sister from school.

I am going to start a thread for a Christmas Challenge. It will start next Friday, November 13th and run through til Christmas. 6 weeks. A thread will be up by tomorrow. (I plan on putting it up when I get back from my father's house tonight.)

I'm being lazy since the challenge ended. I'm working my arms a lot, but food has been my downfall. Partly because of hormones, and a lot because of my lack of caring. I've already gained back 4 pounds. One day I easily could have eaten 6,000 calories. I was just hungry ALL the time.

I started the 6 weeks til Christmas challenge, and I'm hoping that will keep me motivated through the holidays.

Starting tomorrow I'm going to be counting calories again, and keeping track of my workouts.

I went out and bought the last Biggest Loser DVD I didn't own- powersculpt. I'm going to find a routine to include all of the DVDs.

I have a horrible headache today that just won't go away. I have work tonight only from 5-9. I have 45 minutes left til I go in- and I'm just sitting in the parking lot. I had to drop Dan off at work-which is only directly across the street from mine. We share a car. And there is no sense in going back home for 30 minutes just to leave again.

I'm going to go research exercises to do with fitness tubes/resistance bands. Whatever they are called. Lol.
 
I love working my arms. For me, my arms have always been my major problem area. Even when i was 135 pounds. I never like my arms. So if I can conquer my arms... everything else is totally within my reach. Food has been off again today. But tomorrow will be good. I'm working 12-8pm. I think I might just have something small for dinner while I'm at work. I don't know if there's any food in my house to bring to work. But I will make sure to stick to my calorie budget if I eat at work.

Tomorrow before I go to work I will find some time to exercise at home. I don't think I will be going to the gym. But I have enough at home to get the job done. Though I won't be getting rid of my gym membership anytime soon. Something about being around other people working out... makes me want to keep going.

I have to go pick up Dan from work. I cant wait to snuggle with him!!

I've been down lately. I've gained more weight. I hate it, because I have wasted a lot of the time I've worked out in the Halloween Challenge.

I need to spin my head around and realize food doesn't matter as much as I make it matter. My Christmas Challenge starts on Friday. 3 more days. I'm going to spend tonight relaxing and finishing left-over Halloween candy to finally get it out of the house. I hurt my back again yesterday, I had to leave work early. And today I am resting it as much as I can, because tomorrow I have a long day at work, and I don't want my back to hurt at work again.

Making a to-do list for my weekend, to include some work outs. Following schedule for 6 weeks will get me to my goal. :) Also I need to include Christmas shopping into my schedule!!
 
there ya go girl! Treat yourself for a great effort those 6 weeks!!!! You deserve it!!! This will also help you rev up for the next 6 week challenge! You are good to go girl... relax tonight... and get ready for this friday to rock ur socks off!!!! :)

Thank you to everyone who stops by my diary and wishes me well. I will prove you all right. I will get it done.

I'm feeling very motivated today. In my health, my home, and in my job.

I have to work today 12:30-10:30pm. I will be honest... I'm not going to work out today. I am going to eat healthy though. Its a holiday... I will get enough working out when I am running around at work... and I will probably be really tired afterward. I am getting pumped up for my Christmas Challenge that starts Friday.

I have gained again. Yesterday I got rid of all the halloween candy... and had 2 drumstick icecream cones.That put me up 2 more pounds. UGH. I don't care. It is out of my system. I can feel the damage its doing to my body. I am tired and sluggish. I gained the weight back FAST when I stopped caring. The Christmas Challenge will do me some good!
 
you gained the weight fast and you will lose it fast too! Water, water, water and take a B6 vitamin early in the morning and be prepared to pee lots all day - I find it gets rid of water weight. I only take one once a week the day before my weigh-in and it totally works. Yesterday I was up like 5 pounds and took a B6 in the morning and this morning I was down 6! Don't let it get you down - I know you will rock the Christmas challenge just like the Halloween one! Keep it up!
 
YAY I'm super pumped for your Christmas challenge! I'm trying to lose as much weight between now and weigh in date. Haha. Can't wait to start!

208 this morning. Chubbygirl- I know I'll lose it fast. Same thing happened to me at the beginning of the Halloween challenge. Lux- I am excited for the challenge to start too!!

I'm going to my fathers house tonight. I'm going out this afternoon to buy a cheap DVD player for my new exercise room. So I can do my BL DVDs and stuff. I might also start some Christmas shopping.

I am going to be "abstinent" from fried foods, chocolate, chips, icecream, all desserts, soda, and all other junk I can think of for the next 6 weeks. I have 1 exception- which is thanksgiving. I will have turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. Probably no dessert.

And I'm going to start an exercise regime that includes the gym at least 3 days a week, 30 day shred, BL yoga, BL power sculpting, BL bootcamp, BL cardio max, and my weight lifting routine.

By Christmas I WILL be 190 pounds. I won't be stuck in the 200s anymore!!!

girl you have to decide to change first! Start with food, manage it for a week make better choices. join a gym and make a commitment to go everyday and do one class. Find someone there and ya'll run together go to class each day and then the next week bump it up do another class. before you know it you'll have started yourself on a healthy plan. If you find someone to work out with and they quit on you Dont' Quit find someone else. You both should inspire each other and hold each other accountable. Start with a class a day and GO to it don't make any exuses as to why you can't go.. Do it!!!!! Oh and smile!! Ill be smiling for you that's for sure!!!! Oh and remember this. Eat nothing out of a package. If it doesn't grow in the ground on a tree or come from a mother then don't eat it!!! shop the outskirts of the grocery store nothing on the inside it's all processed there!let me know how y our first day goes!!!

I found my motivation!!!!!!

I have been really good with eating,and okay with exercise. I'm looking forward to a lot of things right now. So far today I've had 640 calories of HEALTHY foods. I have a split shift at work tonight. So I have already worked 11-3, and in 10 minutes I have to head back for a 5-9 shift. I think after wowhork I am going to go to the store to pick up some more healthy foods.

On my list to get:
Oats
Whole wheat hamburger buns
95% lean ground beef
Whole Wheat, 96% fat free flour tortilla
Reduce Fat Peanut Butter
Some All-fruit spread
Fat Free American Cheese
Red Onion
Granny Smith Apples
 
I have been drinking 96oz of water a day. I have a 32 oz water bottle that I keep filling up. And I am trying to be more "green", because usually my household buys Poland Springs water bottles. But I don't mind tap water....so I've been drinking that instead. I spend $2 at Walmart for a nice purple plastic one. :)

For the past 2 days my food hasn't been very diverse.... salad, chicken, skim milk, water, cereal, broccoli... But I have found some really good HEALTHY recipes for meals like quesadillas, cheeseburgers, pizza, BBQ chicken... I can't wait to try them out!

I have been doing DVDs for my exercise because I have work weird hours, and going out to the gym has been inconvenient. Plus I have been waking up with a sore back, so I have to let it rest for a couple hours. Then later in the day I have a half hour here and there to do a DVD before I have other plans.
 
I haven't updated my journal in ages. I've mostly been updating in my challenge thread.

I've been doing SUPER well. No cheating in 12 days. I've exercised 9 out of the 12 days. My arms are starting to look ripped. lol. I have an arm routine down. I want to find a routine or other parts of my body. And I really need to start concentrating on some more cardio.

I've been spending time thinking about what types of food to eat on Thanksgiving. So I can endulge, but not go up 5 pounds on the scale. I am going to have turkey, a little bit of mashed, and a little bit of stuffing. I probably won't eat any dessert-mostly because I don't crave it anymore. And I'll fill most of my plate up with Turkey, and the sides I want will be smaller.

I have 3 days off of work in a row-that doesn't mean that I'm not going to be busy.... it just means that I won't be going to work. I skipped school today because I am getting a head cold and I really wanted to catch up on sleep. Lame excuse? maybe... but I did it anyways.

I went to the mall yesterday to buy a new pair of pants because my jeans were literally falling off of me when I walked. Now I fit into a size 15! I haven't fit into a size 15 since Freshman year of college. I must be doing something right! :D

I went to the grocery store this morning and spent far too much money buying lean cuisines, soup, cool 2010 calenders, and OJ. Savings is for January. Between November and December I am going to pay off my credit card debt (350... not that much),and Christmas presents.

Today is crappy weather. I am going to go eat a lean cuisine and play on the computer for a few hours before going to my mom's house later tonight.
