OOooo yeah that pita sandwich sounds great! You have been coping with other people buying the food for a long time now, Brandy. I used to think it would be too hard for me to manage, but these days it sounds like you have really got it down!! Congrats.

I feel like a stupid baby for ever complaining that they buy my food... but, I'm just lucky. They are buying "healthIER" foods, and I have learned to get my butt in there and start cooking food whenever possible.. plus it helps asking for fruits and veggies. I almost feel ashamed of it... but I'm only 20 years old... so I try to realize its not like I'm 30.
 
I ate a lot of food for dinner. But somehow.. I only had 580 calories.

I had chicken, stuffing, baked potato, and a half of a sweet potato. And then afterwards I ate another 2/3 of a baked potato that Danny didn't finish.

But I kept this meal healthy because I didn't put any butter on the baked potato or sweet potato... I just ate them as is. (had a bite with ever bite of chicken breast... so It didn't taste like total crap) and I was going to eat some broccoli (one of my favorite vegetables), but it was sandy and gross. lol. So I just skipped it.

So I ate a TON of food, and I expected my calories to be around 800 or so for the meal, but instead it was 580-something. My totals for the day are around 900... which is SOOOO low. Maybe a bit too low. But I have eaten SOOOO much food. It feels good to have had so much food and barely any calories.
 
I saw 206.2 on the scale this morning! :D I am so excited that the weight is coming off. I definitely see the 100's around the corner. Maybe by the end of next week. I don't expect it this week, as I do not want to expect something and then not achieve it. This week I'm hoping to see a 202 though. What I'm doing is working, and I haven't had a bad day all week! Usually there is at least one screw up day.

This morning I had that pita sandwich again for lunch, and I was SOOO full afterwards. I coudn't even take another bite. That full... for only 207 calories. WHAT? That is crazy.

I was supposed to go to school today to get help on an English paper, but the school is closed. So, instead I am going to relax for an hour or so, and then make my to-do list for the day, and get something accomplished!

I hope this week is as good as last week was!
 
I am only at 704 calories for the day. I want to eat some "YUMMY" foods to get my calories up, but that isn't really the best idea... because I'm trying to stay away from those. Dan bought me some Lay's Light fat free potato chips... only 75 calories for 20 chips. I am grateful because I LOVE my chips, and with a non-fat, low calorie version... I don't have to stay away from them! :) My calories are pretty low, and I KNOW they are too low... but I ate a lot today. I ate everything I wanted to. For dinner I even had spaghetti! I had about 1 cup of spaghetti (cooked), and 1 piece of garlic bread, probably about 1/3 cup of sauce, and I only had 1 meatball... I felt like i had about 600 calories.. but instead it was about 340 ish calories.

I am thinking about having an icecream sandwich, but its not a healthy one. It is like 160 calories.. The thought is still up in the air. lol.
 
Wow Brandy!! Good job on sticking to it! This challenge seems to be doing you well! Look at how far your ticker has gone already! I hope you have a great week this week and keep up the good work!! It sounds like your meals are yummy and big. Amazing about the calories! Keep it up!
 
Sounds like you've found an awesome balance :) I'm doing the same things and it's alot easier to make healthy substitutes but also just make room for some things when we really want them. I have not felt deprived the last two months at all but have had more success doing that than any diet I've ever been on. Who knew simple was better...I like simple :D

Sounds like your figuring things out girl way to go and who cares if you do have that sandwich you have the calls for that yummy ice cream:D!!!

SUCKY ending to the Biggest Loser tonight. OMG... FRUSTRATION. I am going to go work my ass off, and then pass out, finish my English paper tomorrow morning right before class, and then come home and exercise again. I am totally motivated, and I have a little self-challenge to lose as much as I can (healthily of course), before next Biggest Loser weigh in on Tuesday. So.... I'm going to go work my ass off! :D

Edit: I did biggest Loser Yoga for weight loss, and then I puked three times. :puke: So I am TUCKERED out, and I need to sip on some diet sprite or something until my stomach settles. IF that doesn't work I'll just go to the gingerale... I know what stuff works to settle my stomach. UGH. Then I need to go BED.

I cannot put greasy foods into my body when I work out. I don't want to end up like that again.

I'm feeling better today, and though I would love to start exercising ASAP, I need to revise 4 English Essays, and then get dressed and leave for school. School gets out at 5, I'll probably be home at 5:30pm... and that leaves me a little time to study for a test tomorrow, and a bunch of time to exercise. I really enjoyed the yoga last night, and Lets face it- the first time you do a DVD is the worst time... because there is a fear of it being to HARD. But, I didn't even stop it last night! Tonight I am going to try yoga again, and maybe the Biggest Loser Bootcamp DVD as well. I had a bad day yesterday, but I am into the 205's today... but not far in. I've lost .4 pounds so far this week, and I need to kick it up into high gear! I know I can make my goal. Only 15.8 pounds left, and 4.5 weeks to do it!! And then I will finally be out of the "obese" category!!

So.. today's schedule says:

Healthy Lunch, Revising Essays, Getting beautified, Going to school, Healthy Dinner, Bootcamp, Studying, TV from 8 to 10, Yoga, Shower, Bed.

Sounds like a full day. Good job on the yoga but sorry you puked...I hate doing that. I've never exercised that hard that I did that but hey...I've got a ways to go so maybe I'm in for it down the road, lol. So of all your exercise DVD's which ones are your favorites? I'm going to start looking for ones on sale or just ones that I like and build up a variety....I get bored way too easy.

Thats a good question... I don't know. My favorite exercise DVD's are definitely the Biggest Loser ones. They make me feel supported in a way. They are all very positive when the trainers talk. I have The Biggest Loser Yoga for Weightloss, The Biggest Loser Cardio Max, The Biggest Loser Bootcamp, and Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred. They are all AMAZING and fun too! I want to Get The Biggest Loser: The Workout, and The Biggest Loser Powersculpt. But I have so many DVD's that I'm not bored of yet. I definitely recommend them all.
 
I didn't eat much of anything yesterday, My car broke down when I got back from school, and from 5 to 8pm I was waiting to figure out what to do with my car. VERY stressful. Then after 8pm I went to the grocery store with Dan and we bought a couple of healthy foods... well, just a couple of things so I have so good options when I get hungry and munchy. We got fat free, 50% of the calorie chips, fat free milk, and some yummy cereal that I can have for breakfast.

So, needless to say, I didn't get the exercise I wanted to In last night. But I did walk up and down my BIG STEEP hill driveway like 8 times carrying things from my car to my house. The weird thing is that I gained a tiny bit of weight yesterday dispite my lack of calories. I only had like 300 calories yesterday, and I gained .6lbs?!? I don't get it. But I have until Tuesday to get it off.

Today I have to stay home because of lack of car, so... I have time to get exercise in. The bad part is that I have to find some money to pay for the fuel pump that needs to be replaced. It is only $150 for the part, and my step brother Keith is fixing it, so I know I won't have to pay $50 per hour for labor. But... I still have to figure out a way to get that. I will probably have to ask my father or something. I DON'T KNOW. STRESS. I don't even want to think about it for the rest of the day. lol.

On my list for today is studying, lots of exercise, a nap probably, healthy eating, and trying to relax for a day.

I have already taken my nap and had some lunch. I am about to get my ass up and do the Biggest Loser Bootcamp DVD, watch some Hell's Kitchen on hulu.com, and then do some Biggest Loser Yoga for Weightloss before the new episode of Hell's Kitchen comes on at 8pm. :D I will get in my exercise this week! I know I am behind, and I'm going to have to do a lot this weekend... but I WILL do it. I can't wait until the snow disappears again so I can go out on a nice bike ride!

I am excited to get out of the 200's, and even more excited to work hard for bathing suit shopping in a couple of months!! I am hoping to be about 170 when I am shopping for the bathing suit, and 160 by the time I use it on vacation. And I can buy all new sexy clothes for my vacation this year, because all my old clothes won't fit me!

I haven't shown any signs of loss this week yet, but I also haven't gained anything. So I will try to knock that number down 2 pounds, and keep my chin up for my first Mini Goal of 190!!
